I watched him quietly, unsure of how I felt. I stood frozen because I have never seen anyone die, and now I watch my dad die. I think I should cry but I was still frozen in shock after about ten minutes.

"I don't want a stranger for a husband, I only know you and that's not much. From my father's description I would preefer to marry you. I won't get hurt in anyway if I do," I said.
