"breakfast is ready!" I yelled out to Bre as I began making our plates.

I come in and smiled at her. "Thanks sis," I hugged her then grabbed my food.

"welcome." I said with a bright smile. I grabbed my plate and sat it on the table then poured us something to drink. I sat down and passed her her juice. "can I ask you a question?"

"You just did." I said jokingly. "Sure, ask anything."

I laughed and nodded my head. "how come you haven't had a boy friend since mom died?" I asked curiously. "is it because of me?"

"Yes, and no. Things just haven't worked for me. The last guy I lied he said my chest was too small for him, but I have things to do so I don't really have time." I said.

"okay. I was just asking, I like seeing you happy, and I don't want to be the reason you're not getting out there." I say as I eat my food. "hey what if I ask Greg to bring a friend of his and we all can hang out tonight? Or tomorrow." I suggest

"No, that makes me desperate and I don't particularly like his crowd." I said. I liked him but not his friends.

I nodded my head understanding. "okay well I'm sure the right guy will come along soon." I said encouragingly.

"Yeh," I said not thinking it was in my cards to love someone. I don't have time, my future in the traash.

"another question. Have you ever thought of picking back up on your plans to peruse your dreams?" I asked her.

I shook my head. "No, I have to much to do," I said.

I gave her a blank look before going back to eating. "you and I both know that you rarely do anything, but it's your life, I'll support you no matter what." I stole her.

"Look, I can't go too college until next year. I didn't apply because I didn't want you alone with dad and I couldn't anyway because I didn't get my scholarship I've been trying so hard for." I said just above a whisper.

I reached across the table and held her hand in mine. I knew how much she wanted that schalorship. "well we'll get through it, I promise." I said reassuringly.

I nodded. "Until then I have to get a job." I said.

"I'll try and find one too. I don't want you feeling like you have to take all the responsibility." I said as I continued eating.

I sighed as I got home. I decided that I should more then Likely call Lindsey. I pick up my phone and dial her number

As we finished up our food I heard my phone ringing. I quickly ran to my room to see it was Greg calling. I quickly answered before it could go to voice mail. "Hey babe." I said catching my breath.

"Baby why are you out of beath? What's wrong ? " I asked really concerned as she finally picked up her phone if that son of a bitch touches my baby I'm going to kill him I don't care if I am going to jail as long as they are safe

I plopped down on my bed. "bay, calm down I'm fine. I'm out of breath because I ran up the steps to get to my phone. I left it in my room, while I was in the kitchen eating breakfast with Bre." I explained.

I finished eating and placed it in the sink, the I left the house for a walk.

"clean my room and I was hoping we could go out somewhere, just the two of us. There are somethings I need to talk to you about." I answered.
