"what would you like for dinner?" I asked breaking the silence.

I shrugged. "I don't know. Honestly I wish we could have some of the food from home, I miss it."

"I think I know a place that close to it." I said

I looked at him. "Really?"

"yeah. Come on I'll show you." I said getting up.

I got up excitedly and followed him.

We went to the car and I drove her to a friend of mine restaurant. She was an angel as well. You'd be surprised how many of us there are on Earth. "just a heads up, shes just likes." I said as I finally parked the car.

I gave him this look. "No, really? And I thought a human knew how to make our food," I shook my head as if disappointed. Then smiled as I got out.

I laughed as we got out of the car. "not too many humans eat here, all fallen angels." I said holding the door open for her.

"I can guess that," I said as I went inside.

We went in and I found us a table to sit at.

I sit next to him. If given the opportunity I would stay beside him. I'd prefer it rather than be across.

I held her hand in mine as a waitress approached us with a friendly smile. I ordered the special for the both of us and let her choose her drink.

I made my choice and ordered the drink. I smiled at him. At least here no one would hit on either of us. If we're all angels it's least likely to happen to us.

"I think our bad streak with waiters stops here, until we go somewhere else." I said and laughed.

"Yeah, because we don't touch each other's mates. Unless we're the sore fallen, then we do," I said.

"exactly." I agreed. It was like a rule in our society when one is taken you don't try and steal them. The consequences were terrible.

"Yep, I like it here," I leaned on him.

"we can make this our regular spot." I said and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"I want to come here a lot, it may help with me being new here," I said.

I nodded my head. "alright then. I'll bring you here more often."

"Yay," I said.

Soon our food arrived and we dug in. It was the best in town.

I smiled at how good it was. It was definitely close to my meals mom would make.
