I just laid there with my wings spread wide. "I'll be okay."

I got this worried look but nodded and started to leave. I was taught to only go to someone when they ask, and I was giving him the space I thought he needed.

As she turned to leave something snapped within me. Like my heart was going Ty break. "wait don't go." I said softly although I made no effort to move from that spot

I looked at him. I could feel he wanted to me to come to him without being told. I went and laid with him on the ruined bed.

Once she was next to me, I wrapped my arms around her and did the one thing I kept myself from doing for many years, cry. I cried from all the built up anger that had no where to go, I cried for the pain and heartache I've been through for many years, I cried for the fact that I allowed myself to be used badly, and I cried because it felt like the world was going to fall apart pretty soon.

I was shocked but I let him cry. I knew he needed it and that if I needed his shoulder he'd be right next to me. I hated to see him in so much pain but I didn't understand the pain enough to make it go away. Really it felt like all I could do was watch as he crumbled.

After I cried for what seemed like hours my body we extremely exhausted. I just laid there as she held me.

I stayed quiet for a long time after he stopped. It was hard to find something to say that didn't seem heartless or might make him want me to go away. I had one thing I thought was ok, but it was thin ice. I decided to try it anyways. "You know, I'm not happy about the situation at all, but one good thing did come out of it." He looked at me which gave me the incentive to continue. "Most angels who are sent to earth naturally aren't anywhere close to their mate. It takes centuries to find each other, and you needed me so desperately that instead of coming to earth far from you and centuries later, I came straight to you and found you immediately when I arrived. I guess you could say that us finding each other is the good in all the bad of the situation." I gave a soft smile and waited for his reaction uncertainly.

I knew all she wanted to do was help, and it was a bold move on her part. I couldn't get mad at her efforts, I gave her a smile and a soft chuckle. She was right, most angles and their mate come to earth together but they are separated. Once you're on earth you forget who your mate is until you two finally come together eventually. But that only happen to those who are born of a earth bound mother. I pulled her face down to mine and kissed her lips softly.

I smiled and kissed him back. I was afraid I'd spoken out of turn, and for that he could of sent me way from him to my room. I would've listened if he had, and felt bad too. I was just too happy he wasn't mad.

"Thank you." I whispered once we released each other.

"No problem. I thought you needed to be reminded." I said. I wrapped my arms more tightly around him. "Whenever you need it I'll be your light, as you will be mine."

I smiled and rested against her. "always." I said with a smile.

I kissed his forehead, for once the role having to be reversed.

I finally got myself together and stood as I brought her with me. "lets get out of e house for a while. Clear our minds some." I suggested

"Sure, that sounds fun. We should get something to eat." I said.

"alright. Well let me get myself cleaned up and we can go." I said heading to my bathroom.

"I wana change anyways." I said and went to my room and change into the saphire satin dress I bought the day we came here.

I threw on another shirt and my shoes and waited for her.

I came out and smiled at him. "Ready!" I said and grabbed his arm.

I smiled at how beautiful she looked. "I think is becoming my favorite dress." I told her as we made our way to the door.

"Really? Then I'll wear it more often, I like wearing saphire anyways." I smiled t him.

"Good." I smiled and kissed her cheek as I held the door open for her.

"Thank you sir." I said and went through the door and to the car.

I gave her a slight nod and went to the car. I then held her door open before climbing into the drivers seat.
