I didn't notice how he reacted. I just shook my head. "I thought I had more energy." I mumbled and sat back on the couch.

"I guess not, but did you at least want to go out and take a walk around town for a bit. Learn a little more about the ways of the Earth?"

"Sure." I said.

I hopped off the couch and grabbed my keys. "There's a park close i guess we can walk there." I told her.

"Alright." U got up and followed.

I held the door open for her and locked it once we were outside. "Do you want to take the long way or the short way?" I asked walking down the steps.

"Doesn't matter."

I nodded. "Long way it is." We began walking down the street and I explained to her what things were, how they operated, and answered any questions she had about other things as well. I know I should be keeping my distance from her, but it was kind of hard when for one she wasn't ready for this life yet and two we're living under the same roof. So I just have to deal with everything now, while I can.

I listened intently for awhile but then some birds caught my attention. Usually angels nd birds conflicted with each other, but I put my hand out to it and it landed on my palm. I gently petted it's head and back.

I stopped talking and watched her pet the bird. "You have to be careful, not all birds are friendly." I informed her.

I smiled at the bird. "I know. But this one is. She is about to have babies too." I said and she flew away. I laughed childishly and began dancing around as we continued to go to the park.

I couldn't help but smile at her happiness. It seems she finds joy in the smallest things. Not too many people do that now-a-days.

I started to do a random la-la la-la, and it made me giggle as I continued on. It was so childish, it was too obvious that this place had not yet burned my innocence.

It made me happy to know that she was enjoying life, but the hardship has yet to come.

I started to spin around and got dizzy and bumped into him. I giggled.

I chuckled as I caught her. Why couldn't life be as happy as she thinks it is. My phone began ringing and I fished it out of my pocket. I checked the screen and seen it was my girlfriend. "Yes baby." I answered. "I want to come over." She said. "Not right now, I'm showing my cousin around town." I told her. She started winning and complaining about how we don't spend time together. I bit my tongue from telling her it's her fault we don't see much of each other. "Okay, okay, okay. Fine I'll see you in two hours okay?" I said finally giving up. "You won't regret it." She said in a flirtatious voice. I rolled my eyes and hung up. This was going to be another sex session with her like it's always is.

I was off again and had gone pretty far in his short conversation.

I hung up the phone and noticed that Risa wasn't beside me. I looked around and seen her way ahead of me. I put my phone back in my pocket and ran to catch up with her. "You move fast." I had told her once I was caught up.

I giggled. "Well you weren't moving at all." I said and kept dancing around. I knew I seemed weird but I didn'tt care.

I chuckled and turned the corner. "The park is just straight ahead." I said pointing ahead of us.

"Ok." I said. I started running there.

I followed behind her as she ran to the park.

I kept running faster, it was fun. Until I tripped and hurt my knee. But I brushed it off and just walked.

I finally caught up to her when we were inside the park. "You can run!" I complemented. "But are you okay? I saw you trip."

"I'm fine. Don't worry." I smiled at him and started doing random things to wear myself out.
