i laughed and heard the door "i'm gonna get the food" i went downstairs but than saw bri her supposedly best friend.

"nice chest" i said as i got in "you're hot like that you should go to school shirtless tomorrow"~bri

i glared at her "i'll call ash" i said going toward the stairs but she caught my hand

When I answered the phone I thought I would burst into tears. It was my mother. "Mom! Where are you!" I asked in a loud whisper.

"Hey sweetheart. Listen I wish I could tell you but it's for the best if you didn't know. I was just calling to let you know that you should really keep all eyes open to who hangs around you. I have a feeling there's someone out there willing to hurt you. Do you still have the stone?"

I sat listening intently and nodding my head. "Yes I'm wearing it now."

"That's good. Never take it off for nothing okay?"

"I promise. I miss you mom." I said almost in tears. We said our final good byes and I staid in the room trying to get myself together.

i sighed "what do you want bri?" i asked not even looking her way

"why are you afraid to stay with me a bit? afraid you might cheat on her?"~bri'

"are you crazy? cheat on her and with you? " i laughed "never gonna happen"

"but she did..she kissed allan the new guy i saw her and that's why i came here"~bri

i thought about it, allan was in one of her classes but i knew ash. "ash" i shouted so she would hear me and i sounded angry even though i wasn't and knew it was all a game "can you come down?"

I sat in the bed until I heard Jared's voice. When he called my name I could sense anger within it. I furrowed my brows in confusion and made my way down the steps. When I got close enough I saw Bri standing there holding onto him. I looked from him to her in confusion. "What's going on?" I asked a bit nervous.

i smiled at her and snatched my arm away i walked to her and took er hand "i just want you to tell your friend that you haven't kissed allan because she won't believe me and keep saying the opposite"

i looked at him confused i thought he had believed me~bri

My facial expression went from nervousness to confusion. I looked at Bri then back at Jared. "What makes you think I kissed him?" I asked Bri. As I stood there my mothers words rung loud and clear in my head and I knew I had to look out for.

I pulled strength from the stone and from Jared's touch. Her accusations
were right to some extent but not fully. Yes she may have seen me and Allan kiss but it wasn't what she thought. In his defense me and Ariana look a like to an extent and that's who he thought I was from behind. But we came to an understanding that it was a mistake. But even then it was just a small peck on the cheek nothing more. I smile came upon my face as I stared sweetly at Bri. "And what proof do you have that I kissed him?" I asked in a controlled voice as I walked down the last few steps.

i smiled and took out my phone "here"~bri

The smile on my face never wavered as I looked at the picture. I simply shrugged my shoulders and looked at Jared. "Do you believe her now?" I asked him. But before he could answer I spoke up. "Like I said Bri, I never kissed him. He kissed me but it was a misunderstanding. What your little picture don't show is how embarrassed he was to find out who I was. He apologized and that was all there is to it. We confronted Ariana about it and she understood as well. So if you want to start telling lies, I believe you should have some concrete evidence next time, instead of a measly photo. Now if I were you I'd get out of here before I snap your neck for lying on me. As of right now Brianna Marie Smith we are no longer best friends." With each word I spoke I felt anger build up inside me and I could no longer hold my smile. The stone that was snug hidden beneath my shirt felt warm against my skin. From the look in her eyes I could tell I was scaring her, but at this point I didn't care. I was tired of her trying to ruin my life.

i went and open the door" it was nice seeing you bri" i said and lea her out i closed the door and looked at ash "are you okay?" i walked to her and hugged her tightly " i'm so proud of you...you surprise me by how strong you looked i've never seen you like this before and i liked what i just saw because now i know you can take care of yourself if i'm not around" i kissed her forehead hugging her tightly

It wasn't until he hugged me that I realized I was holding my breath. I was prepared for her to retaliate with more lies but she just walked out with her head held high. I smiled and hugged him back. "Yeah, my mom had called me to warn me against people who want nothing more than to see me fall, and with everything that's been going with her I knew she was my main target. Besides I'm not sure how I would have been able to handle it if you weren't with me."

i smiled and kissed her "your mom must be your guardian angel...and i don't know why she would think i'd believe her i know who i ave for a fiance, the most loyal girl i've ever met in my life and i know you wouldn't hurt me"

I smiled and hugged him tight. "Yeah, besides I don't think I could live with myself if I ever hurt you." I was going to say more but I was cut off by a knock on the front door. "Food's here."

"finally! i'm starving i could have ate bri if she said another word about you" i smiled and went to get the food

I laughed as he went to get the food. "Austin, Eliza! Food's here!" I yelled up the steps. Moments later I heard their footsteps running towards the steps. "Make sure you wash your hands before eating." I told them once they were downstairs.

we set the table and i went to wash my hands then sat next to her

I went and washed my hands as well and sat at the table. When everyone was seated I got the kids plate and split up their food to share. Then I gave Jared his food and got my own.

once we were done eating i looked at ash " is my mom here? we need to go to see that man to get more information but we can't take them with us"

I helped cleaned the table and washed my hands. "I think I seen her in her room earlier. So she should still e here."

"okay i'm gonna check on her and tell her the kids will stay here and..go chnage" i smiled and kissed her lips

"Alright I'll straighten up down here." I kissed his lips and began wiping the table off.

i went to see my mom and told her where we were going she knew about me but didn't know about ash and i wanted to keep it that way for now. i went to my room and got a shirt on and fixed my ruffled hair before grabbing my keys and going downstairs

I was picking up the last of the toys when Jared walked back downstairs. "I'll be right back just putting these up and I'll be right down."

i kissed her cheek and smiled "i'll be in the car"
