“I’m ok, just worried about everything and i haven’t been able to stop thinking about it all.” I quickly wiped my eyes, and forced a smile. “How are you feeling?”

"This house is mine, my family only comes when i tell them to. But if you don't like it I can search for some other place?"

"I'm better, I don't even feel the pain anymore" i reached for the bandage and took it off "what the fuck! I swear I was bitten, how did it disappear like that?"

“Perks of being a wolf, they said you heal extremely fast.” I glanced over, and wondered what he was thinking. “Maybe try give yourself a paper cut and see what happens?”

"A wolf? You really believe that shit Ava? Sure we used to read and watch movies about them but that's it. This isn't real. Your friend and her husband are crazy people"

“I saw a human walk outside and turn into a god damn wolf! Literally my own eyes saw this, otherwise we wouldn’t be staying here. You believe it too, deep down I know you do.” I said. “I don’t think you understand exactly what you are, and what will change.”

I frowned "I don't want anything to change, I want to get back to our life, with our son. We were supposed to find a family hone and saty there and live a happy life. I don't want this"

“I don’t know what to do, they say you’re a wolf and what happens if you turn into one and we’re back home? What if you’re hungry all of a sudden?” I groaned and laid back on the bed. “Trust me, I don’t want to be here either. I want to be back in our tent.”

"Hell no I'm not going there again!" I chuckled "what do you mean if i get hungry? What i'll eat rabbits? Or whatever wolves eat?"

“Humans.” I muttered “don’t you get it, you could have been killed if that wolf stayed.” I sighed, “I just don’t want you to her hurt so that’s why staying here is the best. They can help.”

[Demona]

I sighed and brought her to me kissing her forehead "thank you for sticking with me and not leaving me all alone"

“Where else would i have gone? I won’t leave you.” I said, feeling queasy again. “I’m not sure what I’m meant to do but I’m not going to leave your side.”I just hoped he loved me once he turned.

[Demona]

"Good, coz i don't want you to go anywhere. You and Lenny are my life, my present and future"

“I hope so.” I whispered mostly to myself. “Lenny needs food, and I might take a shower with him.” I poured him some water Incase he needed a drink. “Unless you wanted a shower? I can wait.”

[Demona]

"Go ahead, I'll take care of Lenny while you shower. I'll take mine when you're done" i kissed her gently even though for some reason I wasn't feeling any passion.

The kiss didn’t feel the same as it usually did. For me I loved him so much, but I wanted him to kiss me like he loved me. “I won’t be long.” I said and grabbed my clothes taking to the bathroom. In the shower, I slid to the floor and just cried until my eyes stung.

When Ava was back I could tell she's been crying in there, and I knew it was my fault but it wasn't my intention to hurt her. "Ava, are you sure you can handle me being... well not human? Not normal?"

“Of course.” I nodded, wanting to tell him what I feared the most “it’s just that.. my feelings for you haven’t changed but they said-“ and I began to cry softly again “that yours for me might do.. cane was talking about how wolves have these life long mates where their heart is connected to one person only and you won’t find our yours until you turn. Usually they’re with other wolves.”

"Mate? Are you telling you're worried I might fall for someone other than you?" I held her hand in mine "Ava that's impossible, I've loved you since the instant I saw you"

“Yes you say this, but how do you feel about me now? Just be honest and tell me.” Because I knew something was going on. “I can tell you love Lenny the same, but you don’t even look at me.”

This subject was getting to me. It wasn't something I wanted, i just wanted to be with her but it was like my mind didn't. I groaned as I felt a pain shot through my bones "ughhh I... Ava" i heard something snap and cried out in pain as my bones started breaking one after the other "call someone!"

I ran to the door and shouted out “Hunter! He said his bones are snapping and needs help now!” I shouted out, Lenny was crying and I was trying to rock back snd forth soothing him.

Hunter and mason went inside and saw a trashed out room. They each held him from a side and took him out in the open.

"Alright Zach, you need to breath, this will hurt even more if you fight it. Stop thinking about what's happening, think about what makes you happy, your lived ones"

Hunter was glad Mason was here since he never had to do this before.

Zach looked up at Ava and saw her rocking lenny, he forgot about his pain and focused on her face, her eyes, her hair, he closed his eyes and started reminiscing about beautiful moments they shared together. Soon enough he turned into a huge grey wolf and started running towards the woods.

Mason looked at Hunter "i think you shouldn't leave him alone, he's still not in control"
Hunter nodded and shifted before running after him.

“He’s going to come back right?” I stood there in a frozen stance staring at this tall man who was built like a Greek god. “Hunter will be able to find him?”

[Demona]

Mason turned around and saw a woman holding a baby in her arms. She must be the wife, he thought. "I remember you, you were Willow's friend in school right?" He walked toward her "don't you worry Hunter will find him and he'll be back. This is his pack now, he'll always want to come back"

“I hope you’re right then.” I said quietly with a sigh. Realising it was Willows dad. “I don’t know what to do, I feel helpless.” I said just standing there in the room. “I think I need to just take a walk.”
