Hard working Jude would do anything for his kids unlike his wife who never wanted the kids in the first place.  All she wants is his money and him to give her everything.  He once loved his wife till after their twins were born and she no longer wanted to take a chance of getting pregnant again.  Now after 2 years of her complaining he was stuck with a choice either stop working as much and downsize how she lives her life or let her hire a nanny for the kids. He didn’t like the idea of someone else raising his kids He hated it in fact.  That is till he actually met the beautiful kind woman who would now move in and look after his world.

I was shocked. “He is an idiot. Good night Jane. If you need anything just ask.” I had to get away that little info about her ex just passed me off. How could anyone walk away from her. I glanced back at her and shook my head I debated on going to bed but my work won. Plus I didn’t want to hear Lisa complain.

After mum was settled and asleep, I made my way into the kitchen to make a hot tea, it always helped me sleep. I went outside, noticing a light upstairs and wondered if he was in his office. I undone my robe, staring a black bikini, and dived into the pool for a swim.

I heard a splash and turned to look outside and I shouldn’t of. There was Jane swimming in a black bikini that looked like second skin. “Fuck!” I wasn’t getting any more work done now. I stood there and watched her graceful moves and wished I could be down there with her. I felt like a creeper but for the life of me I couldn’t look away.

I swam for a little bit longer, before walking out of the pool and making my way to grab the towel and dry off. I glanced up thinking I saw something but must have imagined the shadow. Letting out a yawn, I headed back inside and down to the bathroom for a shower

I glanced back down afraid she caught me. What was I thinking watching her. My god her body though so real and fucking perfect. I went to my den where I kept my liquor and poured some bourbon into a glass. I can’t believe I am thinking about our nanny like this. I felt sick. I should go to bed with my wife. I finished my drink and went to walk out but bumped right into Jane. On reflex my hands flew out and caught her. “Shit are you okay?”

I grabbed his arms to stop myself from falling over “oh gosh! Yes, I’m sorry. I didn’t think anyone was up.” I said, steadying myself. “Did I wake you? I’m sorry, I was trying to be quiet and got lost trying to find my room. This house is massive.”

I laughed. “No I was working and needed a night cap in the den.” Still holding onto her not wanting to let go. “How about I show you back to your room.” God even with no makeup and hair wet she was beautiful.

“Yes Thankyou, i would like that”. I smiled, glancing down at his hands on my arms. “You work late, do you usually work this much?”

I smirked. “I wouldn’t be able to give Lisa all she wants if I wasn’t working all the time.” I shrugged. “I thought once we had the twins things would have been different but they got worse. Every free moment I get is with the kids. Lisa is always our spending money on god knows what. She changed once she found out she was pregnant.”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” I dont know if he was drunk and not realising what he was saying, I’d just talking because he wanted to. “Your kids are great, and it’s clear you’re a good father. Maybe you should change the bank card pin. Say you’re broke or something.. April’s fools ya know.” I laughed a little.

I shook my head. “I have once and she threatened to take the kids from me.” What the fuck was I doing telling her all this. “She isn’t a bad person really. I mean she has changed but the woman I fell in love with is still there. I don’t want you getting the wrong idea about her.” God I wished I truly believed what I just said.

“It’s ok. I won’t say or judge.” Maybe she just jd that post natal thing. I looked up as I spotted the bedroom
“Well Thankyou for walking me back, I appreciate it. I’ll see you in the morning.”

I smiled. “I’ll be heading to the office early in the morning so I won’t be back till dinner time, but sleep good. If you need anything just let us know.” Maybe that bourbon went straight to my head because I didn’t want to leave her yet.

"Im sure I will. umm-" I glanced up at him because he was so close, and so damn handsome. I had to take a step back, and take a deep breath "goodnight, ill see you tomorrow." I was planning on baking with the kids, and maybe take him a few cookies and cupcakes.

I smiled and stood there till she closed the door. I went to the room I share with my wife and couldn’t sleep well. I came to the conclusion I wanted Jane and couldn’t have her. The next day at work sucked my mind wasn’t there and I had to fix problems after problems.

“Knock knock daddy!” The little twins tapped on his work door, pushing it open and running inside excitedly with a small container each, one with cookies that were iced and another with cupcakes and frosting. “Hope we’re not bothering, they couldn’t wait.

I smiled when I heard their voices and smiled more when I heard her. “No, no this is a pleasant surprise.” I opened my arms for my kids and wanted to do the same for her. “I was going to get some lunch would you three like to join me?”

“Well we sort of brought you something to eat.” I said and placed the containers on the side of his desk. “Sugar overload, they wanted to scoop themselves.” I picked up the daughter and held her on my hip as she cuddled against my side with a yawn. “I think she’s ready for a nap, all that cooking wore us out.”

I smiled. “Well this is a big surprise. How about we go home and put the kids to bed and have lunch.” Why I said that was beyond me, I just couldn’t help myself. “I’ll save these for dessert.”

“If that’s ok with you, then yes.” I smiled, taken aback. “Oh Lisa told me to tell you, that she will be late tonight. There’s a sale and then something about catching up for drinks with friends.” I hoped I remembered that right. “And the chef is sick, so I have a roast cooking. If you like pork, if not then I guess it’s sandwiches for you.” I teased with a wink

I sat there shocked. Not about Lisa but about her, she was amazing. Then it hit me. “When did the chef call off?” Something wasn’t adding up. Something I had a suspicion on for a while. “Also did Lisa mention what friend?” I have to remember to check my bank statements cause I had the feeling I knew where she would be and with who.

“Umm no, she didn’t say and I didn’t ask. Well she didn’t really let me speak as she stated and walked away. It’s ok, I don’t mind she doesn’t like me.. it’ll take some a while to warm up. I’m a little annoying at times.” I cuddled the daughter against my chest more and kissed her cheek as she snuggled in and fell asleep

I shook my head. “Not at all Jane. I think I know where she will be and why my chef got sick so suddenly.” I groaned. “It’s okay lets go get the kids to bed and get something to eat, I’m not going to be getting any work done.”

“Oh ok.” I didn’t want to pry, so I didn’t ask too many questions. “What did you want for lunch?”

I smiled “anything you want to make me!” I got up and picked up Brice and walked out with her following me. Once home and both kids were in bed I sat in the kitchen watching her make us some sandwiches while I smacked on the cookies groaning at how good they were.
