“We haven’t spoken about anymore, Lily’s home and is pregnant. The kids already think I’m too old, and you said yourself you were excited for grandchildren, I took that as you were done.” I said. “Do you want a vascetomy? And don’t say whatever I want you want, I need to know what you want too.”

I sighed. “The thought scares the shut out of me baby, and before lily was home yeah I was leaning to having one more but her being home and pregnant changes that I don’t want to have a child younger than our grandchild you know.” I grabbe shee hands in mine. “So I guess I’ll be making that appointment tomorrow. Right now we need to figure out what is going on with lily and Gunnar.”

My heart broke but I wouldn’t let him know that. “Ok, I’ll have the ice pack ready for you.” I smiled, thankfully Lenny distracted us both by knocking over the tower of blocks he built. “Let’s build them again.” I laughed, and passed him some more.

I knew she wanted more I could see it but we could keep having more. I sat watching them both build and smiled. She was such a good mum.

“I’m still not sure about dinner, I don’t know who’s going to be here for it.” I looked up at him, and noticed he was watching us. “Maybe we should go down to Lily and and Gunnar? I don’t think everyone needs to listen in on our conversation.”

I stood up and looked out the window. “Looks like they have the same idea in mind here they come now.” I watched them close and they seemed happy I was a little disappointed but seeing her happy made me happy. “Char baby she looks really happy and remember this isn’t about us it’s about them.” I knew her emotions could get the best of her and that worried me she might come off as not wanting her daughter to be having a baby but that’s not it she just wants to be sport of it all.

“Again typical.” I shook my head. “How else should I feel Tanner? Is there anything you want me to do or say? You try and control every situation and it’s like I can’t have my own voice or your there trying to set everyone up so everyone is happy and life is happy and it frustrates me. Who gives a shit what Charlotte thinks, seems to be the main thing around this house lately.” I snapped, on the verge of tears. They walked into the room, and I walked over to her with a hug. “I’ve missed you.” I whispered, kissing her cheek.

“I’m sorry mum! I know you’re probably furious.. but I had to do it. Umm.” Lily pulled away. “We married in Vegas, and I’m pregnant. But we’re really happy and want to make it work.” She reached for Gunnar’s hand.

I looked at them both and just nodded, “Ok. Just don’t take off again. We will talk tomorrow, I’m not feeling too well sorry. You can tell me all about your trip and what the wedding chapel was like.” I winked, giving her a hug again, I left to go and feed Willow and lay down.

I sighed and looked at lily. “I’m happy for you kiddo, just give your mum time she is happy for you too.” I had to fix things with Charlotte. I was going to make sure she pumped enough milk and we were going to go to the cabin. To relax. That’s what she needed.

It was after lunch but I took a shower and put my pyjamas on anyway. I didn’t care to do anything. I was tired and annoyed. I fed and placed Willoe in her bassinet by our bed and then climbed into mine, turning the tv on low and watching whatever was on.

I walked in and felt bad. “So um this weekend do you think you can um have enough milk pumped for you and I to go away and for me to spoil you because I’ve been an idiot and haven’t been showing you how much I love you and appreciate you.”

“We don’t have to go anywhere. Lily just got back. I’m sure they’re all expecting some big dinner this weekend.” For me to cook and clean at. “I’m just tired, you should book your appointment and spend the weekend recovering from it.”

I shook my head. “Nope we are going and I will be sitting up the dinner and making sure you don’t lift a finger to clean, it will be sort of a congratulatory dinner for them but I’ll do everything.” I had to get her to go with me I wanted her to be happy and feel what I feel when she does everything for wel everyone.

I sighed, realising he wasn’t giving in. “Fine. I’ll exoress enough for the weekend.” I closed my eyes, silent tears leaking down my nose on to the pillow “I look forward to going away with you.”

Sighing I just couldn’t win.” I wanted to make her happy and I was doing a shit job of it. I walke dover and kissed her nose feeling the wetness. “I love you char.” I walked out and went to check on Lenny.

“I love you too.” I whispered, closing my eyes and hoping to drift off to sleep when the boys in the hallway woke me up and the woke Willow was a screaming fright. I jumped up, my heart pounding from being woken like that and held her as I walked out to the boys slamming doors and banging into walls “what the hell is going on! Jesus Christ! Your sister is asleep! Show some fucking respect thanks!”

Andy rolled his eyes “sorry mum.”

Sam grinned “relax mama bear, no need to snap.”

“No it’s not funny, and don’t tell me to relax. Neither of you are up all night with a crying baby are you? Maybe think of that before you go banging into everything!”

“Maybe you should remember that before you go begging dad for more kids.” Sam winked. “Good thing Lily’s knocked up otherwise you’d never stop. We don’t need anymore siblings and you’re kinds too old to have anymore babies.”

I looked at him with tears in my eyes “maybe you boys should look for a house to move into.” And I turned closing the bedroom door.

I walked up to where I heard the noises and looked at the door that just closed. “What the hell did you say to your mother?” I was upset. I looked at them with a glare. “Go get out and go somewhere for the night!” I walked into our room and looked at her crying. I walked over and pulled her and willow to my chest. “Baby what did those boys do?”

“They speak to me like complete shit.” I sobbed against his chest. “There’s no respect.” And the fact they called me old. “It doesn’t matter what they said, it’s the fact they all think it.” I cried even more. “God I hate feeling like this, I need them to help out more. Or we look at getting someone to come in a clean.”

I sighed. “Well I told them all to leave for the night. I want you to take a bath and relax.” I kissed her and went into the bathroom lighting candles and makeing it a relaxing environment. “Come relax and I’ll come in to check on you after I clean up the mess they made in the kitchen.” I was so upset with them.

I walked in, smiling. “I haven’t had a bath since Willow was born in one.” It looked amazing. “Thankyou.” I leant in, wrapping my arms around him and giving him a kiss. “A weekend away with you sounds perfect.”

I smiled. “God because we are going baby. And I’m going to give you whatever you want and deserve.” I kissed her now let me clean up for you.” I winked and watched her get undressed and groaned adjusting my cock. “Damn I really got to get inside you tonight!” I smirked and walked out before I jumped her.

“Yeah you said that the other day and fell asleep on the couch.” I laughed, shaking my head as I stepped into the large tub, and sunk down. Closing my eyes this was just what I needed. I grabbed my phone, and send a photo to him of my toes beneath the bubbles -Thankyou-

I sent him another photo of my thigh, and then one with my collarbone and breast under the water with bubbles in teasing places. I laughed and laid back down, wondering how long it took before he came in.

I finished up but I also ordered dinner for us and once that came I took it all upstairs. “Baby i hope your hungry!” I waked in and smiled.

“Very.” I was relieved not to have to cook. “What did you order?” I looked at him, still relaxing in the tub. “Can you pass me to towel?” I asked standing up.
