I laughed “its ok, my husband can go get me one later.” I grinned “better step up your a game mr cook.” I smiled even more, rubbing his arm.

After my shower, I dressed and tied my hair up, pulling on my warm coat and gloves, I walked down to them “I’m ready when you are.”

“So, after this we can go to our new home.” I smiled with excitement. “And don’t worry I’ll take things easy at home, I’ll be plodding along unpacking and setting the rooms up.”

I shook my head. “No you can tell me what to do but your won’t be doing anything you need to rest no lifting or hanging or setting the rooms up. I’m at your beck in call baby.” I was so worried for when we got there I knew she wouldn’t be able to hold back.

“I can still help, I mean I want things perfect and I won’t lift anything heavy.” I promised. “This home is going to be a great change for us, I can feel it. How incredible will it be waking up to the view of the lake we’ve swam in for almost twenty years.”

I smiled. “It is going to be good, I can’t wait.  This will be the home that our grandkids come to visit us.”  I smiled and then laughed.  “Is our little girl going to be our last or are we having more?”  The thought of grand kids made me happy as well.

“Me too, I think she will probably be our last.” I was happy with that, a little girl to finish our family. “She will be the perfect way to complete our family.” I smiled. “Are you happy with the fact I won’t be pregnant again? I’ll get my tubes tied when I have her.”

I smiled at her. “Yeah it’s time to get our older kids married and have some grandkids.” I kissed her and smiled more it was a great thought but I didn’t see it happening too soon.

“Well then, it’s set. She’s our last, and I’ll make sure no slip ups happens, or you could book in for a vasectomy next month? Probably a good idea for you to do that and I’ll come with you this time.” I winked.

I shook my head. “I won’t till she is born but if you’d rather me do it then I will so you don’t need to have anything done after giving birth.” I get bad but I didn’t want to do anything to soon cause what if something happens to this baby.

“It’s up to you, may as well book in for it.” I said feeling slightly sad at the thought of no more babies but we were older, it was time. “I love you.” I fixed my shirt as Lenny laid on the bed making sounds. “I might change and we can leave.”

I smiled “okay let me make a call and make sure the surprise I arranged is about done!” I winked knowing she will want to know.

“Surprise?” I looked at him “what surprise? I am curious.. you can’t keep secrets from me.” I hated when he done these things, they drove me wild. “You’re such a tease.” I groaned, slowly getting out of the bed and standing with a wince “oh god.” I breathed, untying the gown, letting it drop as I stood in my underwear, not realising the bruising had worsened and I was black and blue all over.

I groaned.  “Damn baby I can’t tell you how sorry I am. I hate that he did this to you.”  The good thing is that they will go away but still I hate seeing her like this.  “Should I get a wheel chair you winced pretty good when getting up.”

“No I am not being wheeled out in one of those things. I can walk.” It may not be fast but I’ll get there. “It was from just standing, I’m fine.” I dressed slowly, with his help and we were soon heading to our new home. “I wish you would tell me what the surprise is.”

I smiled and held her hand. “Well the one has been in play for a while and I know you’ll love it specially in the mornings we can have coffee and relax there. The other I just kind of put together with some help from Noah he hated that I asked him to do this it was funny!” I kissed her hand and pulled into the long drive. “Welcome home baby.”

“Oh it feels so good to be here.” I smiled brightly, so happy we were going to our new home. As I saw the white timber deck that we would spend many hours out, tears welled up “it’s exactly what I imagined.. it’s beyond perfect. A home we designed for us.. somewhere for our big family to keep growing.” I squeezed his hand, and eagerly pushed open the car door.

I shook my head. “Baby slow down I don’t want you to hurt yourself.” I grabbed Lenny and followed her. Noah came out and nodded at me letting me know it was done. “Everything is the way you told me to do it so I’m out of here going to go see Finn and maybe beat him in the Xbox Gunnar took to him.” I smiled and watched as char just kept walking.

“Ok don’t be late home.” I waved at him but was too busy staring at the house and looking around. Even the gardens were the way I pictured. Although mainly empty, it was beyond my wildest dreams. “Tanner I’m-“ and all words failed me as I walked into our bedroom. Rose petals everywhere, such a romantic setting as our new bed was made with the linen I’d said I liked and he didn’t. “Oh my god..” I had tears running down my cheeks as I walked further out, and noticed an extra thing he had told the builders to do. “This wasn’t in our plans.” I smiled, sliding the glass door across, stepping onto our own private deck “Really?” I grinned, “You really done this?”

I smiled. “I did, I thought you would really like it.” I walked closer to her and held Lenny who was getting sleepy. “I’m going to change him and lay him down then I’ll come out with a snack and lemonaid?”

“I look forward to it.” I said still too busy looking around the room and what he’d had done outsid. It was beyond amazing.

I laughed did what I said I would do coming back finding her outside I came up behind her and kissed her neck. “Let’s sit and eat this fruit and enjoy our view baby.”

“You’re my favourite view.” I turned in his arms, sliding my hands up and down his chest “the house is incredible. I’m so happy right now I’d probably let you in somewhere where I don’t usually.” I saw his eyes light up and I laughed “yeah not happening, I do however can’t wait to get in that spa.”

I smiled. “I figured it will feel good on your body right now.” I loved that she was happy. “This place is perfect I can’t wait till we have our first family dinner here.”

“I know, I’m picturing us all outside on the deck, you working your magic on the grill and everyone together. It’s been so long since we all ate a meal together.” I smiled lovingly up at him. “And it will definitely feel good on my body. I know what else would too.” I leant up pressing my lips to his.

I smiled into her kiss. “Me to it’s been to long and needs to happen. Maybe when Finn gets out we can have everyone here.” I kissed her again and smiled. “Let’s go sock in the jacuzzi!”

“Just keep the bubbles off.” I smiled, not sure I would be able to get out once in. We stripped naked, and I smiled sinking in the water as he sat behind me. Laying against his chest, I closed my eyes peacefully “I love it. Can we do this every night before bed?”
