After my shower, I dressed and tied my hair up, pulling on my warm coat and gloves, I walked down to them “I’m ready when you are.”

I smiled getting in the bed and holding them both. “You feeling better?” I was so worried about her

“Yes and no, my throat is sore, it feels very bruised on
The inside. My ribs hurt. But I can’t complain when I’m alive.” I placed my hand over his “I love you.”

I smiled “I love you, and I would kill him again if I could, but I know this time he is gone forever. I really made sure this time I unloaded my gun in him.”  I almost loaded it back up just to unload again.

I was glad he couldn’t see my reaction. “What? Are-are you sure? I mean, are you ok with what you done? I don’t want details, I just need to know he’s never coming back here again.”

I kissed her head. “He isn’t I made sure and yes I’d do it again if it means saving you and our family. I need to know you all are safe and me doing what I did makes that happen.” I just need to find this sister of hers and take care of her too.

“Thankyou.. for always being the protector you are.” I squeezed his hand “you make sure we’re all safe.. I love you for that.”

I pulled her and Lenny tighter against me. “I love you get some rest baby you need it.” I had a feeling she was happy he was gone but not happy that I was the me who made sure of it, I felt like she was upset with me. I had not choice and I would do it all over again seeing him on top of her and her limp body scared the shit out of me.

I fell asleep, safe with his arms around us. When I woke it was lighter in the morning, Lenny still asleep and Tanner behind me. I traced my finger over his wedding ring, smiling to myself. “I can’t wait to go home today.”

Moaning as I stretched a little. “Me too this bed i is way too small for all of us!” I kissed her head. “You want some good coffee and a good breakfast?” I was starving and wanted a real meal not hospital food.

“Oh yes, good coffee, maybe bagels with cream cheese too.” I tilted my head back to catch sight of him. “This is the worst bed ever. I’m so having a home birth with the next one.”

I smiled. “Oh yeah not another water birth like lily?” I know it wasn’t suppose to happen but the fact that I have delivered two of our children I knew I could this one no problem. I smiled and winked. “I’ll be back.”

“I’ll be here, waiting for you and my food.” I smiled, gazing down at Lenny as he slept. He was growing so fast, and I was always in awe of him. As he stirred, his mouth opened searching for my breast. As he fed, I turned the tv on and watched some hallmark show.

I got the food and brought it up to the room smiling the whole time. I just need Finn to get feeling back and char and the baby to be okay and for us all to be home. I walked in and saw Lenny eating and shook my head. “Is he going to share anytime soon?”

“Possibly not, he won’t like having to share with his little sister when she comes along.” I smiled,
with a soft moan “something smells great. I was thinking, when we’re all settled in and moved, maybe it’s time to look at a house cleaner to come in a couple times a week?” I suggested after always refusing

I smiled.  “I think it would be a good idea, but we need to do thoroughly background checks.”  I wasn’t just letting anyone into our home again. “And damn I forgot I will need to share with our other princess too!  And if she is anything like lily she want let me near you!”

“Tanner.” I laughed “of course you won’t get them, sex is long gone, trust me my libido has died” I said with a serious face as I teased. “I have no desire for it anymore, I guess it’s time you use your hand and jerk off to porn behind your work desk like you probably do anyway.”

I looked at her. “Please tell me more!” I sat on the bed and watched as she looked over her coffee cup at me with a smirked she was in a playful mood and she wasn’t going to tel me anything.

“Let’s just say, I have a better memory than you do and it’s something you can enjoy.” I smiled, loving he hated not knowing. “And you have only mentioned it to me once before years ago”

I rolled my eyes. “Baby I’m just coming off a bad head injury that caused my members to up and leave, why would you do this to me?” I faked pouted. “So is it a new car? A boat? A weekend with only you being naked?” I groaned at the last one. “Mmmmm I want the last one definitely that one!”

“You always get birthday sex, but it’s not that. Well it’s two things actually, maybe three.. you’ll have to wait and see. Just make sure you take that weekend off work.” I grinned and zipped my coffee

I shook my head. “You know I don’t need anything baby, I’ve got what I want all that I want beside Finns conditions. I mean if I could wish for one thing right now it would be for him to fully recover.” I said sadly.

“Me too. I hate what’s happened to him.” I agreed. “One day at a time is all we can take, trust me, I’m a pro at being patient and knowing things will come through when they’re meant to.”

I kissed her and smiled. “That you are! I love that about you too.” I knew she was right I just wish it would happen sooner than later.
