I laughed “its ok, my husband can go get me one later.” I grinned “better step up your a game mr cook.” I smiled even more, rubbing his arm.

After my shower, I dressed and tied my hair up, pulling on my warm coat and gloves, I walked down to them “I’m ready when you are.”

“Oh does he?” I smirked knowing she was trying to distract me and I will let it work this time. I placed my hands on her belly and smiled. “How’s our little doing?”

“I have an ultrasound tomorrow, and I’ll find out if it’s a boy or a girl.” I gazed down at his hand. “I would love for you to come along, if work isn’t too busy.”

I smiled. “Of course I’ll be there but do we need to find out?” I wasn’t sure I wanted to know specially if it’s another girl.

“How about I find out and don’t tell you.” I winked. “It’ll be a fun surprise for you.” I just wanted to buy baby clothes and do up the nursery. I moved his hand to where there was strong kicking and smiled “feel that?”

I laughed. “Whatever you want and I love this feeling.” The baby was strong. “Very healthy and strong is say.”

“The kicks are strong aren’t they.” I smiled, kissing his shoulder. I looked at Seb who walked in “lily isnsickX she’s staying at Gunnar’s place, or so he said.. what do I do?” I looked at Tanner, frowning “nothing. I’ll go and pick her up myself, but she isn’t sleeping over there.”

I was pissed. “I knew this would happen. I knew it. That boy is trouble.” I shook my head and looked at char who was now getting her shoes on. “Maybe o should go with you.”

I looked at him, about to protest when my phone rang. “It’s doctor Martin,” I said confused. I answered and left the room to speak with him, and when he told me what was wrong, i felt sick. “Maybe you should stay here. Trust me, it’s for the best.” He would murder the boy if he came with me.

I didn’t like it. “Okay I’ll stay if you take one of the boys with you at least.” I really didn’t want her driving.

“Absolutely not. Dont even suggest that.” They would make this just as bad. I walked over kissing his cheek “she’s pregnant, she needs me. Don’t do anything to make this worse.” I said and grabbed the keys to leave.

I sat that replaying her words over and over. My little girl is pregnant. That boy will pay for this. I got up and started to pace the floor. The boys all knew something was up but I just wanted to kill that son of a bitch

“Dad what’s going on?” Sam finally asked. “You look mad, did mum tell you your dinner wasn’t nice?”

I shook my head “no it’s your sister and I want that boy who hurt her dead!” Was all I could say.

We came home and I looked at Tanner shaking my head “make an appointment for tomorrow morning.” I said and led lily upstairs. I couldn’t speak, I was in shock.

I looked st her what the hell. Make a appointment for what? I had no clue. I called and told them my wife wanted me to make a appointment for our daughter. Then went up to see what was going on. As I entered the room I sighed. “What’s this appointment for?”

“What do you think it’s for.” I rolled my eyes sighing. “She’s not keeping this baby, she’s a wreck. She cried the entire time home, saying how she wants to kill herself because she has a rapists child growing inside her.” I fought back the tears “she’s seventeen!”

I sighed. “I know she is seventeen but char regardless of who the father is, that baby is our grand baby.” I didn’t see how she could be so for killing it. “We should let her decide once she has a some time to think. I don’t think rushing into this would be wise.”

I looked at him, shocked “excuse me! Are
You fucking delusional? Remember how you felt when I gave birth to your second daughter and you thought James was the father? You couldn’t even fucking look st me or speak to me.” I half yelled “I am letting her decide but I won’t let her keep something because you and gunner think it’s the right thing to do.”

I knew she was upset but wow. “That’s not fair and you know it. This isn’t the same thing. But I’m glad to know that you think I’m delusional.” Shaking my head I turned. “All I said was I think she should take time to decide. It’s her decision and hers alone I won’t influence her in any way and you shouldn’t either. I’m going to go get some work in.”

“Yeah, least you have your priorities straight.” I muttered shaking my head, I wasn’t in the mood and walked away to our bathroom to take a shower.

I sighed as I sat in my office. I couldn’t believe she said that to me. I couldn’t believe she could say that she didn’t want our grand baby. I didn’t understand I couldn’t. But what really hurt is she threw something in my face that I can’t even remember the whys. I couldn’t go back up there not now I was afraid I would say something and regret it.

I stripped off, taking a hot shower and sliding to the floor with my head in my hands, I sobbed and sobbed, my heart in pieces with all the mess. I couldn’t believe this little bastard had hurt my daughter this much. My eyes tired, I couldn’t deal with the stress. I put my silk lace pyjamas on, and climbed into bed on Tanners side, inhaling his scent as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I sat there and watched my daughter break. “Lily I love you and will always love you. I just want to make sure you thought this through. I see you have and I’ll support you.” I got up and sat in the chair next to her. “Your mother and I are well we are just fine she made a comment about your sister and it really upset me, I don’t remember anything about her or what I said to your mother at the time and I feel bad enough for that you know. It hurts not even having the slightest memory specially when I knew she would have grown to be beautiful like her big sister and mother. I’m sorry if I have hurt you with this, you shouldn’t have to hurt anymore.”

“Dad, she’s upset because you were so excited to have another baby, and then she fell and you weren’t with her when she gave birth to a stillborn, she needed you, and you walked in and accused her of having an affair with James and then said the baby wasn’t yours and left before she had to deliver. I know she was mad, that’s why she asked for a divorce but you two worked it out and she forgave you.. I don’t know, just stop fighting.” I sighed, hugging him. “Goodnight.”

I went to bed and saw char sleeping on my side I undressed and climbed in holding her. I hated myself more that night. I knew the next day would be bad regardless.
