lily suffered something tragic. 

Scared and afraid, she struggles to see the light after a night that went terribly wrong. 

Then she see’s him again.. and everything changes. Can he bring her back to whole, and completely heal her.

“Yep you sure are.” I sleepily mumbled. “Sleep babe. He will probably wake again soon.” I yawned. “And then you can take me to prom.”

I laughed. “And Tom can be on diaper duty!” I laughed and put my arm around them both. “Goodnight baby goodnight Lenny buddy.”

I woke up, tired and thinking it was all a dream. It wasn't. with a sigh, I got up and took Lenny out to the kichen to feed his breakfast and let him have a roll around on the floor. that's when I noticed everyone else already awake. tom walked over, "finn is awake, hes pissed and angry.. he's having sponge bath." he winked. "we can't see him yet."

I walked out hearing that. “That’s good he is awake, we all knew he would be pissed.” I kissed lily and looked at Lenny. “God he’s a good baby.”

"that he is!" I smiled. "anyway, I have to go back to the house, you know, get a clean change of clothes and take Lenny home." I let out a yawn. It was prom, but I wasn't going. "i'm going to visit Finn."

I sighed “lily they are only letting your parents se him now why don’t you stay here till you hear from your mum or dad okay.” I knew what was going on in her head I didn’t like it.

"No mum messaged before, she is on her way to the house so i'll take Lenny and meet her there, i'm sure she needs a distraction, and I can help her be distracted with my annoying charm." I smiled. "Tom, glad to see you had fun last night, wait till I tell dad you're a swallower." I poked my tongue out running off to the bedroom to dress.

I laughed as Tom stood there. “You know she will so get that look of your face.” It was funny to seem them bicker back and forth. “So you and Matt huh. That’s good.”

"Yeah, it is." he smiled. "anyway, how did Lenny go? bet you're eager for kids now after he slept all night." he winked. "and uh, when do you start chemo? are you nervous?"

I sighed. “No it’s a new kind different from my last but I start Monday. He is a good kid really.” I got up and got some coffee. “She is going to try to back out of going tonight isn’t she.”

"Yeah theres no way she's going to prom. goodluck getting her to change her mind, not when Finn is in hospital." he sighed. "I don't know, maybe you should just cancel?"

I nodded. “I just want her to not worry he has to be okay right? I mean he is strong and stubborn justvlike lily. He will be okay.”

"Yeah of course he will be." he smiled as Lily walked out. "Hey, I'm off. mum text and said to come home, she wants to chat girl to girl." I smiled. "I will see you later, I love you." I kissed Gunnar, and groaned pulling away. "Miss your face already." I waved heading off.

“I’m worried about her something just doesn’t seem right them going to the house by them self’s you know.”

I came back to the house, confused as I walked in. "Umm so dad called and told me not to go to the house." I said standing in the doorway. "do you know something I don't?"

I shook my head. “No baby I don’t know anything Tom?” I was confused. Then I wonder was it not safe for her to go I didn’t have a good feeling. “Call your Dad Tom now!” I ran over and pulled lily and Lenny into my arms.

I sat in the waiting room, there was no I could be anywhere else after what dad said. My brothers and I took up most of the small waiting room, taking turns between seeing Finn and waiting to see mum. I linked my arm through Gunnar’s and rested my head on his shoulder “do you want to go for a walk and get some flowers with me?”

I smiled. “Yeah we can do that as long as I can pay for them.” I kissed her head. I looked over at Matt who was sitting there talking to Noah and Tom. I’m glad he came for Tom he needed him. I stood and held my hand out to her. We walked off and Tom yelled. “This is no time for a quickie!” I smirked and shook my head.

I laughed “flowers you idiot!” I rolled my eyes, as we kept walking. “Do you think mum is ok?” I asked quietly.

I smiled and looked at the flowers.  “You sure flowers baby look at those treats over there I think she would like those better!”  I kissed her. Hoping her brother and mum will be okay

I grinned spotting them “perfect!” I agreed “she loves sweets, but which ones?” I pursed my lips trying to decide “all of them,” I said to the cashier “I’ll take all the flower cupcakes and one of each eclair.”

I smiled . “She will be so happy about this!” I pulled my card out and handed it over. Kissing lily when the young lady was staring at me.

“Gunnar.” I said quietly. “You don’t have to pay for them, they’re not cheap.” I didn’t want him to feel like he had to, I knew he probably didn’t have much.

I smiled. “ I don’t have to but I want to your my girl I want to spoil you even if it’s sweets for your mum my future mother in law.” I kissed her loving her blush.

“You’re so sweet.” I kissed him back, loving how kind and generous he is. “She’s going to love these, I doubt dad will get any.” I laughed taking the box from the counter. “Alright, let’s go visit her. I’m sick of waiting until dad comes out”.
