Once upon a blizzard

One night during the start of a blizzard like storm a woman and her children (one boy and one girl) were traveling to get away from her ex. She had no choice she needed to get away. Her ex wa as abusive drunk who thought he owned her. She drove into a small town and was almost to where she wanted to be when out of no where she hit a deer. Sitting there in the cold not knowing what to do she looked at her phone seeing she only had a little battery left she called for help. The dispatcher said she was lucky that the fire station was close by. A little while later there was a knock on her door. She looked and was stunned by the handsome guy standing there asking if she was okay.

It was late and the snow was coming g down hard when we got a call about a woman and two children stuck on the side of the road. I was pissed that anyone let alone someone with children would be out in this mess. As we got to the scene I knocked on the window Dow and asked the lady if she was okay. She had a light bruise on her cheek possibly from the hit. Her car wasn’t on so those kids were probably cold we needed to get them to the station now.

“Well I look forward to it.” I took his hand and kissed his cheek “I can’t believe you let me go to sleep in a mood.” I laughed “I was totally gutted, hence the reason you didn’t get laid last night.” I groaned.

I smiled.  “You can make it up to me tonight as I plan to do as well!”  I winked and grabbed her hand.  “Now come on I’m so excited to be on a date!” I laughed and we walked around and laughed.  It was such a good day already.  Once we finished and we got into the car I looked at her.  “Okay is this might not be your typical place to go on a date but it’s important to me.”  We drive and once we got to the entrance she looked co fused . “Just bare with me okay.”  I stopped and got out going to her side and opening the door.  We walked up to a stone that said “Gunnar Hendrix gone to soon.”  I sighed.  “Jane this is my brother, gun buddy I told you if I ever found the one I’d bring her to meet you.  And her she is, she is amazing, has been through a lot, she has two amazing kids Reid and Luca.”  I paused and kneeled.  “We um we were pregnant but we lost the baby and I know you being up there you are entertaining your niece or. Ephesians like a god uncle would.”  I wiped a tear away and looked up to a tearful Jane.

“I think this is the best person you could have ever introduced me too. I would have loved to meet him, and I know he’s up there with our baby taking care of him or her for us.” I wiped my eyes, emotion hitting me hard. I noticed the fresh flowers and wrapped my arm around him “does your mum come here often too?”

I smiled.  “Every chance we get we come and talk to him. He didn’t deserve to die Jane he was young about Lucas age.”  I pulled her to me.  “But if he were alive today he would have liked you.  He would have teased me too.”

“I want to hear all your stories about the two of you, and if we ever have a son, he’s name will be Gunnar.” I promised, looking up at him. “I love you so much Bo.”

I smiled loving her more for what she just said.  “Thank you and I love you, you ready to go get dinner?” I stood and kissed her.  “I want to have a baby with you and I don’t care if it’s a boy or girl!”

“Me either.” I knew it would only be one, if we was lucky enough to fall pregnant. “And yes to dinner, I’m hungry and eager to see where we’re going.”

I smiled.  “We need to stop and get changed there are two dresses for you to choose from and then I’ll be back to pick you up I want to get ready at mums and actually pick you up properly.”

I raised a brow “you chose me dresses? Oh god I am picturing something stripper like.” I faked horror and laughed. “You’ve put a lot of effort into today haven’t you.”

I smiled and nodded.  “I did and don’t worry I saved the stripper dress for later!  I thought we could sneak to the station and you could use our firepoll and dance for me!”  I winked and laughed. “I will if you will!”

“Will you wear your uniform?” I laughed, knowing me I’d slide down and forget to dance or get stuck. “Id rather dance on another pole later tonight.” I wiggled my brows kissing him

I smiled.  “Mmmm your idea sounds better!”  I winked and kissed her back.  “Okay I’ll be back to get you in a hour!  Hope that’s enough time for me I mean I have to look good to pick you up.”

“I’m sure you will look handsome.” I smiled saying goodbye. I went and found two dresses. I wanted to choose the safe one, what I would normally wear but instead I chose the red. I waited nervously for him to come pick me up.

I was a little nervous going to pick her up.  As I pulled up I got out and knocked.  I had roses for her and some chocolate covered strawberries! I waited for her to open I had a huge smile on my face okay so my reservations were actually on the beach I had one of the guys and his wife set it out she was a chef and her food was amazing.

The door, my smile matched his. He was hotter than ever, I actually couldn’t believe how good he looked dressed up. He handed me the flowers and strawberries and I blushed a little. “They’re beautiful, Thankyou.” I turned putting inside in some water. “I’m ready to go, eager to know where tho.”

I smiled . “It’s a surprise I hope you like it.l. I drove to the beach and looked at her confused face.  “Come on.” I took her hand and we walked to the beach where she saw the single table and gasped.  “Is this okay? One of the guys wife is a chef and she cooked us up something special.”  I helped her sit and smiled.  “Oh and I’m well there is a tent like thing we can stay in tonight or we can go home your choice. The movie will be here on the beach too.”

“No I want to stay at the tent.” I smiled. It’s beautiful, more gab I ever imagined. “Definitely a date to remember, you went all out for sure.” I smiled up at him “god I love you. I’m speechless, this is beyond incredible.”

I smiled.  “I didn’t want to do typical because well you deserve more!”  I said raising my class to hers.  “To a new start, to us, to Reid and Luca, to my mum, and to Gunnar!”

“Yes” I smiled clinking glasses with him. “You’ll have to take a photo of us later, it’s incredible here.” I was on cloud nine, I couldn’t believe we were here.

I smiled.  “We can take as many as you want, we need some of us up at the house and the kids too!” We ate a delicious talked.  “So I picked three movies and you get to choose which one you want to watch.  Or we can just enjoy each other.”

“A movie? We’re staying in the tent aren’t we?” I wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. “I don’t want to watch tv tonight.” I just wanted him

I smiled.  “Yes a movie in the tent it’s all set up but we don’t need to watch one we can watch the sun disappear and then make love over and over again.”

“I think I like the sound of that.” I smiled, definitely wanting that. “Let’s go, I’m sorry, but let’s take photos and dessert to the tent because I’m too eager to wait anymore.”

I smiled and stood up gathering everything I could and she helped.  We walked to the tent and I smiled it looked good.  We walked in and it was lovely.  “I’m so gonna have to do this again for us.”  I looked at her andsmiled I put the stuff down  and pulled her to me and kissed her hard.  “I love you Jane.”

“I love you.” I grew nervous, this was it, we was trying for a baby. Somehow, it turned me on even more. “Get undressed.” I groaned unbuttoning his shirt fast.
