Once upon a blizzard

One night during the start of a blizzard like storm a woman and her children (one boy and one girl) were traveling to get away from her ex. She had no choice she needed to get away. Her ex wa as abusive drunk who thought he owned her. She drove into a small town and was almost to where she wanted to be when out of no where she hit a deer. Sitting there in the cold not knowing what to do she looked at her phone seeing she only had a little battery left she called for help. The dispatcher said she was lucky that the fire station was close by. A little while later there was a knock on her door. She looked and was stunned by the handsome guy standing there asking if she was okay.

It was late and the snow was coming g down hard when we got a call about a woman and two children stuck on the side of the road. I was pissed that anyone let alone someone with children would be out in this mess. As we got to the scene I knocked on the window Dow and asked the lady if she was okay. She had a light bruise on her cheek possibly from the hit. Her car wasn’t on so those kids were probably cold we needed to get them to the station now.

“Who was that?” Even though he sent her away, I hated how jealous I got. “Well least it wasn’t him right.” I sighed

I pulled her to me. “That was some disgusting girl who said some things I didn’t like and she is gone!” I kissed her. “You okay?” I was ready to get out of here after that.

“Yeah just eager to get back on the road.” I shouldn’t feel jealous, he wasn’t mine. I had no right to feel this way. “We can grab breakfast on the way, the kids are still sleeping though.” I looked at him, draping my arms around his neck “did you sleep well?”

I smiled. “I sleep great with you in my arms or next to me.” I smiled and pulled her to me, are you upset that I called you my girlfriend? Because if we are doing this even in secret that’s what you are to me.”

I smiled, feeling more relief than ever “Really? I think I like the sound of that, and I know we have to keep it quiet, just until I’m settled with the kids. I don’t want to confuse or bombard them with anything until I know they’re ready.”

I nodded. “I understand not saying I really like it but I understand.” I kissed her and smiled. “So now that’s cleared you get the bags and I’ll carry out the kids and try to keep them sleeping.” Which with Luca it’s easy but Reid may wake up.

“Alright” I reluctantly let go and went to the rooms, picking up the kids things and ours then making way to the car. Luca was snuggled in his arms when he brought her out and stayed sleeping, Reid too. We stopped at mx Donald’s and got is food, the kids for when they wake. I scrolled through houses on my phone trying to find something for us. “I think I’ve found it. Small cottage home, five minute walk from the beach, three bedrooms and two bath, enclosed yard with veggie patch and undercover patio, this sounds nice.” I flipped through photos “I think we’ve found a winner.”

I smiled “Sounds nice. I want to go check it out with you and then if you get it I want to put new alarm systems all over Okay? It will be my house warming gift.” I grabbed her hand and held it glancing at her. I needed them to stay safe.

“I’d like that, and I would appreciate you coming to look at it.” I squeezed his hand back, then heard the kids waking which I pulled my hand away. “Hey you sleepyheads, hungry?” I handed their bags to them. “Oh yummy!” Luca grinned

I laughed but missed her hand in mine. I winked at Jane and kept driving. “Make a appointment and we will go once we are back in town.” I was happy for her but worried. I would be till those asshats we’re in jail were they belong.

“We can go take a look as soon as we’re back.” I smiled excited about this. “Oh god I’ll have to go shopping to fill the house if I get it. At leas the kids will have their own room as will i.”

“Mmm own room I sure do like that!” I winked. “I can help you with anything you need Okay. Also my mum is a good bargain shopping I’m sure she would love to help as well.” I just kept thinking of her own room now. Damn it and my cock was getting hard.

“I may need your help for putting furniture together. Setting up a tv, you know the manly stuff” I laughed. I put my phone aside, feeling motion sickness. “You’ll have to come for dinner sometime.”

I smiled. “Are you cooking? Will there be more Cake?” I winked. “I’d love to help out with whatever you need me to do give me a chance to have Reid Help too.” I smiled thinking how much Reid would enjoy that.

“I’m sure he would.” I smelt the kids happy meals and I felt another wave of nausea hit me. “Can you pull over, I’m going to be sick.”

I looked at her. “Yeah yeah.” I pulled over and went over to her side opening the door and helping her I held her hair. “I know my driving isn’t that bad? Are you okay?” God I hope she wasn’t getting sick.

“No it’s from staring at my phone for so long.” I shook my head. “God it’s awful.” I rubbed my stomach and grabbed a napkin from the bag of food I had. “Sorry. I haven’t been car sick in so long.”

I nodded. “Okay.” I handed her water and smiled. “You wanna try to make it to a place we can stop or wait?” I didn’t know what to do in this situation.

“No I feel better, I’ll just close my eyes for a bit. Keep driving.” I took the water to rinse my mouth. “I rarely get sick so let’s hope it’s not that.”

I nodded and got back in the car driving off and keeping a eye on her the kids looked worried and I smiled at them. “Your mama is fine just a little sick of my driving!” I laughed and they did to I saw a smirk on her lips and that made me feel better.

“Yes your driving is terrible.” I looked over at him, resting my head back. He was such a sweetheart. “Are you excited to go back to work? I bet Tony misses you.”

I laughed, “I’m sure he does but he will get over it.”  I ran my fingers on her thigh being discreet so the kids wouldn’t see.  “I’ll wake you when we get closer if you doze off.”

The tingles ran up to my stomach as his fingers brushed against me “Thankyou.” I gave his hand a squeeze before resting mine on my stomach and closing my eyes. The nausea had left but I felt slightly off. 

“Bo can you take us in the fire truck? And show us how to use the hose?” Reid asked after awhile.

I smiled.  “Maybe in a few days buddy.”  I looked back and smiled.  “I hear you have a birthday coming up!  That’s exciting, what all do you want?” I asked wanting to know so I can make it happen.

“I don’t know. For mama to be happy. I always wish that but it never happens.” He said sadly. “Maybe a bike. A red one so I can ride around on it.”
