Bright lights and caramel lattes in the city keep Mia happy. Her life is all working as an editor in a big time publishing house. Her life is busy, with never a time to sit and have a moments silence that she longs for. A hard week of work, and she's at her breaking point. Not saying a word to anybody as she packs up a suitcase, grabs her keys and drives off to a place unknown, letting fate decide where she should end up, or who she's about to meet.

“Do you think they’ll mind? I don’t want to intrude on family time.” I couldn’t take my eyes off him, even listening to him speak was distracting. I just laid there smiling at him.

"Are you kidding me! They'll be so happy we found each other. My parents are lawyers, they put their careers on hold for the sake of the pack and when things went back to normal, my mother went back to being a lawyer. My dad was still alpha till i reached the age of 18, he gave me the title and went back to his law firm. I have a degree in architecture, I just don't use it" i chuckled not knowing why I was telling her all that. Maybe she didn't want to know? "Anyway they won't mind at all. And I'm sure you'll love them"

“Ok I’ll come to lunch.” I agreed, I mean we basically have just spoken about being together for life. “But I would like you to come and meet my parents, if I’m going to live here then I will need to go back and talk to them about this.”

"I don't mind. Anything for you" i rested my forehead on hers "we could get them to come over for lunch as well and break the news to them all at once?"

“They’re hours away, I haven’t even told them I’ve left.” I looked up at him, and pulled him to me again. “I don’t want to stop kissing you.” I groaned, running my fingers up the inside of his shirt and over his soft skin

"I don't want that either, but I have to confess to something" i sighed "being a wolf, means my feelings are ten times stronger than humans. Since this is my first time, I worry I might wolf out on you"

“What do you mean? I don’t think I fully understand.. are you saying that you will break me?” I grinned trying to find the right words. “All I know is that I trust you with my whole heart.”

"Break you... shift... wanting to shift. I'm not sure eithe I chuckled nervously "it makes me feel better that you trust me"

“Umm I don’t know, I guess we just take it as it comes.” I said wrapping my legs around his hips and pulling him closer “If you shift then that won’t matter.”

"If I'm about to shift you'll have to calm me. As my mTe you're the only one that can talk sense to my wolf" i stopped talking pushing the tray away and not caring it fell to the floor. I kissed her while my hands were caressing her legs and found their way under the hem of my shirt "you look so sexy in that shirt" my hand traveled north and surprise, no underwear "you're killing me"

I gasped and my breathing quickened up, anxious and nervous. “I’ll do my best to calm you. I think kissing you might work the best.” I laughed nervously. I growled getting up and hurried outside "who's there?" I saw Elara emerge from the foyer and stand in front of the stairs.

"It's just me, I thought you were at the pack house I brought you an apple pie for tomorrow"

I couldn't believe this "no I'm staying here tonight. Thank you Elara."

"Is the human staying here with you? I can smell her from down here"

"Elara leave please"

"Why? What's going on? Why isn't she staying in a motel? Why are you shirtless and smell like your hormones are... oh my god! You fucked the human? That's usually River's game what are you doing?"

I growled hating to play the alpha card on her but she was pushing it "Elara I said leave! Now!" My voice raged through the house and she knew she shouldn't argue anymore, she scurried out. I could hear her crying and wanted to go out there to comfort her but the scent of my mate was driving me wild. I was about to go back to her when i saw her baked and standing right behind me.

“Are you alright?” I asked quietly, wanting to press and ask why she was here and if I needed to be worried about the two of them but I said nothing and placed my hand on his arm. “How about we take a shower, then you can show me your room..?”I suggested placing a kiss to his chest.

"That is actually a great Idea" i smiled scooping her up in my arms and taking her to my ensuite bathroom "I know what's going on in your head. I promise you there is nothing between Elara and I. She's just a friend"

“She’s clearly in love with you.” I pointed out, “and I could tell you wanted to go after her.” I watched him adjust the water as i unbuttoned and pulled down his jeans. My eyes landed on what had been hiding this whole time and I couldn’t help my let my mouth form an O “oh shit, you’re definitely going to break me apart with that.”

"If she's in love with me that's her problem to deal with, not mine. I've never led her on. And yes i wanted to go after her. Imagine hurting your closest friend, wouldn't you want to go after him or her?" I chuckled looking down "i'll do my best not to. I want you in one piece"

“I don’t want to talk about her right now.” I whispered, wrapping my arms around him in the shower and closing my eyes, “Do you bite me during it?” I asked, feeling my hormones picking up again

I kissed down her neck and let out a moan "if I'm marking you yes. Don't worry it won't hurt you, you'll only feel pleasure. And it won't change you either" i picked her up so she had her legs wrapped around me and trapped her between my chest and the wall "i need you"

“You better take me to your bed then.” I whispered, hungrily kissing him and grinding against his erection. I wasn’t nervous, I felt like I’d been consumed by love and a deep need to be his completely. I felt my back hit the bedding and clung to him tightly “make me yours.”

I didn't need to be told twice as i gently pushed myself inside of her and stopped worried I might hurt her, i started kissing her and touching her everywhere as i pushed a little more inside of her with a groan. Taking it easy was killing me.

I felt a sting and groaned, biting my lip as I dig my fingernails into his shoulders and wrapped my legs around his thighs tightly, I couldn’t believe how this felt, the pain slowly disappearing and I moaned “oh my god!”

Hearing her moan got to me. I started moving in and out picking up the pace slowly. It didn't take much time as we both came together panting.

My breath was ragged as I felt as if I was on the biggest high of my life. I smiled up at him, wiping the sweat away “you didn’t bite me.” I noticed “but wow, like oh my god that was amazing.”
