Arrogant and ruthless, he doesn't care to enjoy anything except his pack, and making sure everything is running smoothly. He doesnt care about material items, and loves a simple life of meat and veg for dinner.

Bright lights and caramel lattes in the city keep Mia happy. Her life is all working as an editor in a big time publishing house. Her life is busy, with never a time to sit and have a moments silence that she longs for. A hard week of work, and she's at her breaking point. Not saying a word to anybody as she packs up a suitcase, grabs her keys and drives off to a place unknown, letting fate decide where she should end up, or who she's about to meet.

Two people destined to be together, finally meet again.

"Wait you know about werewolves? And you're talking about it as if it's the most normal thing anyone can discuss. Aren't you afraid?"

“Why would I be afraid?” I raised a brow “my father is one and he’s never hurt anybody.” I felt like I could tel him anything. “He will probably kill me for doing the one thing he said never to do but I’m not afraid.”

"Your father!" I exclaimed reaching for her tray and putting it aside "as i sat next to her and held her hand in mine "I'm so glad I ran into you. Now tell me, what do you know about werewolves?"

“I don’t know too much, he doesn’t really talk about it.” I said looking at him anxiously. “Why are you asking me this for? What do you know about them?” I asked oblivious to it all. “My dad mentioned something about soul mates and he and my mum are forever each other’s.”

My smiled widened "I'' asking you because I'm a werewolf. Alpha of the blue moon pack, And i was having a bad time figuring a way to tel you without freaking you out"

“Oh.” I said as everything started to hit me all at once “oh my god.. is everyone here? Like even the doctor? Oh my god I’m so sorry I didn’t know.. I can leave right away if you like.”

"Leave? No you can't... I mean... do you really want to leave?" I asked raising an eyebrow "yes everyone here is part of the pack but we casually have humans passing by. We don't mind as long as they don't hurt anyone"

“I do have an apartment back in the city and family, I have brothers and parents.. but I don’t know, I was drawn here to this place. It’s strange, you feel like home and everywhere I’ve never been all at once.” I said quietly, tracing my thumb over his

Her words, and her thumb touching my skin lit my whole body. I couldn't wait anymore, i couldn't stop myself. I leaned in and kissed her hard. The moment my lips touched hers, a burning desire went through my body. I moaned bringing her closer to me, as close as our position allowed. Without breaking the kiss I pulled her to me so she was straddling my lap and gently pulled away locking my gaze with hers "I'm sorry..." i let out a heavy breath "who am I kidding, I'm not sorry really. How did that feel to you?"

My whole body was on fire, I’ve never felt something so electric. My fingers brushed through his hair and i but my lip nervously. I wanted to tell him it was incredible, but instead what came out was “I’ve never kissed anyone before. But I want to kiss you again.”

[Demona]

A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I kissed her again, slowly this time. "You are my first kiss as well" i smiled against her lips and started taking her scent in, nuzzling her neck "you smell like vanilla" I closed my eyes "I can't let you go Mia, you can't go back to the city"

“Then you’ll have to come back with me and help pack my things.” I softly laughed, wrapping my arm tighter around him neck and bringing my mouth against his “why do I feel like this about you? We’ve only just met but I can’t stand to be apart from you.”

"Because i feel the same Mia. We are destined to be together, we are mates for life, and I couldn't be happier to have found you. But your scent is familiar to me, have you ever been here before?"

“No never.. I’ve never even left the city.” I bit my lip, excited by all of what was happening but scared at the same time. “What does this mean? What happens now? Do we just hang out and get to know each other?”

"We can do that, or we can... move in together, better! We can get married right away. Your parents know about mates, so they will understand."

“Married?” I half laughed, not thinking he was serious. “I umm I’ve never slept with anyone either.. I’m not really going to be experienced for you.”

[Demona]

"Trust me, I've been waiting my whole life to find my mate. And I've never been with a woman before, so we're both kind of inexperienced"

“Then who’s the woman you were hugging?” I asked, “that looked like more than friends.” I glanced away as I heard a loud clap of thunder and then heavy rain. “Will you stay in here the night?”

"Of course I'll stay" i smiled and sat her back on the bed "but you do need to eat. Your belly has been growling since we got here" i chuckled. "That woman I hugged is Elara. She's my childhood friend, her dad was in the hospital and she wasn't feeling good. That's all."

I nodded, picking up my sandwich “ok then..” I hesitated before taking a bite and leaning back on the pillows. “So I’m sort of not sure about this but when we you know, mate and all.. do we have children right away? And will they be werewolves too?”

[Demona]

I grinned "I'm not sure, but they do say our genes are pretty strong so we might get children right away. And since you're human I'm not sure what our kids will be. You said you had brothers, are they werewolves?"

“Lenny isn’t, dad was turned just after Mum fell pregnant with me.. so then when they had Jack and Ben, they both are.” I looked at him “now many brothers and sisters do you have?”

[Demona]

"You're an only girl with three brothers... how fun" i chuckled "just like my mother. They were over protective and even gave my dad a hard time" i wrapped an arm around her to have her closer "i have a brother, River, and twin sisters. Lana and Lena."

The name River sounded familiar. I smiled and reached for his hand, the rain pouring louder on the roof, I pulled him closer “do you have to leave tonight or tomorrow for pack things?” I asked

"I do have things to do tomorrow, but River will take care of it. It's time he takes some responsibilities. But I wanted to ask you, Would you go to lunch with me at my parents' house? I really want them to meet you"
