“I’m not crazy.” I defended. “Your dick is still inside me and you’re telling me to go and see someone?” I was talking to him, wasn’t that enough. “You need to go back to work.” I moved off him, feeling even worse as I just walked out of the room and slammed the door.

I laid back and groaned. Feeling terrible. I pulled the damn thing of me and and threw it out doing up my pants and walking I’ve rto the door . “Jane baby I didn’t mean it like that. I just met maybe if you can tell someone other than me maybe they will know better how your feeling, I know your not crazy, sometimes it helps. Like when I couldn’t save someone the first time I went and talked to someone and they helped me.” Sighing into the door I backed away. “I love you Jane I’ll come by later or call you.”

I didn’t need to talk to anyone. I heard the door close and sat on the floor bursting into tears. I cried until I couldn’t anymore, and then fixed myself up. I picked the kids up from school and took them to get ice cream, then stopped by Bo’s mother’s for a visit, she ended up keeping ge kids for the night and I went back to the bliss on my own. A bottle of wine, hot bubble bath and candles was what I needed and so I stripped off and laid in the bath enjoying the silence.

I sat at work upset.  I didn’t know what to do or say to her . I was hurt
That she would think I could be with another and I really think talking to someone would help I ignored everyone specially the bitches who put that in janes head.  

I watched as she came back on her own I knew her boyfriend was gone so I snuck in and walked into hir room I heard the bath water splash and smirked.  Walking inside I looked her up and down her eyes closed damn did she look good . “Hey long time!  To bad your son can’t watch what I do to you now!”

I froze, a chill ran down my spine as I heard his voice for the first time in so long. “No!” I screamed and grabbed the candle burning, throwing the hot melted wax in his face as I took off running from the room. And pulling on a nighty. “Helllppppp!!” I screamed hoping anyone would hear me.

I screamed and ran after the bitch. Catching her I pulle dher back against me. “Now that’s no way to treat a old friend is it. Specially one who has gave you the best pleasure of your life, I’ve been looking for you. I want you so bad.” I ran my hand between her thighs groaning. “Your husband said if we set fires it would get that little boy away from you so we can show you how real me. Can be. Now we get a chance your husband promised me we can fuck You at the same time baby!”

Same time? What? No! I felt sick immediately and threw my head back headbutting him to the face. His cried out and I ran but tripped over and was pushed to the ground. I thrashed around kicked and rolling from him and hitting him with everything I had. “Help!!” I kept screaming. “Help me!!” I noticed the fire poke and reached for it as my arms were above my head as he was on top of me. I sobbed screaming as I gripped it and drove it into his neck.

Groaning I backed handed her and I tried to speak but the blood just sprayed everywhere. Holding the damn thing in my neck I finally said. “Your dead butch!” I saw her husband out of the corner of my eye he grabbed her and then shoved her into the wall I watched her fall and laughed. Before her husband raised the gun and shot me.

I was just getting ready to lay down when my phone rang. “Hello?” I said not knowing the number. “Hello this is Tim from life line security we have sent police to your residence, as there was no answer on the landline. The polices also said they got a call about some disturbance-“. I didn’t even let him finish I was throwing my shoes on and running to my truck. I hung up and dialed the station to let my captain know I had to leave that something was wrong. All I could like about was Jane and the kids.

I screamed as he fired off the gun. “You’re meant to be in prison!” I coughed, holding my stomach from a sharp pain. “What do you want with me! I’m nothing!” I yelled, coughing up blood. I noticed him light a match and toss it, flames starting small until they were bright and wild. “You’re going to kill me?” I laughed shaking my head but all I could do was cry and the thought of never seeing my kids or Bo again. My vision blurring and breathing slowing, I knew I was either going to die or pass out, and soon everything went black.

As I got to my truck the sirens went off I didn’t care I rushed tot he house first. As I got closer I saw the flames. “.Fuck!” I pulled up as a police car did and then I saw someone a guy running from the house. I looked at the cop and they took off and I ran inside the flames were bad . I managed to see a body on the floor with what looked like a fire poker in his neck I called out several times no answer then I saw her by the wall I picked her up and carried her out to some of my fire brothers “the kids!” I yelled and ran to the truck putting my gear on watching tony rush in. I ran in after looking everywhere tony looked st me and shook his head. “They aren’t here!” I was confused I ran back out and to her hoping she was awake but she wasn’t. “Fuck.” I ran back in and soon after the roof collapsed. I was stuck under a beam.

My chest hurt and head throbbed as I slowly opened my eyes. I could hear a beeping, and was in a white room. Realising I was in hospital as I went to move but everything hurt. The door opened and Tony walked in with flowers “where are the kids, Bo?” I asked trying to get out of bed “I need them.” 

“Bo is down the hallway, he’s still sleeping but he’s lucky to be alive. You both are. The fire spread quick and there’s nothing left of the house I’m sorry. Your kids are with his mum, we through it was best they stay there for a few days until you’re well enough.” He said sitting beside her. “I’ll get a nurse to take you to see him.” 

I nodded. “Yes” and I was soon being wheeled down to his room, and by his bedside. I climbed up onto the bed beside him, and just cried holding and kissing him. “I’m so sorry. Please wake up. I need you.”

I laid there I could hear people but couldn’t make anything out. I would slip back into darkness when I was a kid and getting the shit best out of me. Then I would slip back into the fire where I could t save them though.

Tony walked in and smiled at them. “Hey I just want to say sorry, I know Bo was upset and worried about you when he came back to the station.” He sighed as he saw Amy walk in. Shit this isn’t going to be good.

“Hey tony can I have a minute with Jane?”

He nodded and looked at Jane. “I’ll e right outside if you need me!”

She looked at bo laying there and then at Jane. “I just wanted to say sorry, I was bragging to my friend at the station about being with bo, in truth is I tried to get him to be interested in me but anytime he talked it was always a out you and the kids. He loves you and I being jealous and stupid I made up shit hoping you would leave him and he would turn to me, but he hates me now and has every right. He is a good man and I understand you probably hate me too so I’m transferring stations.”

“I hope you do. What you done was hurtful and disgusting.” I said as tears ran down my cheeks. “Now if you don’t mind I’d like to be alone with my boyfriend” I couldn’t look anywhere but at him. “Please wake up baby, please.” I heard the door open again and the nurse walked in, telling me I need to go back to my room as the doctor needed to speak to me and discuss some results. I left, scared and alone as I went off for scans and tests.

Laying in this bed I assumed was so hard I needed to know what happened with Jane and the kids of god the kids I couldn’t find them did that bastard take them what happened to him did they catch him. I just wanted to wake up and get some answers

It was two days since everything and I would go and lay with Bo each day, I was physically ok but mentally scared. “You know since our house is gone, that means we’re moving in with your mum until we find another home for the five of us and the dog.” I said brushing my fingers through his hair.

I had to wake I wanted to I needed to wake up. I wanted to hold her make love to her play with the kids.

His fingers jumped and then tightened around her hand. I just had to open my eyes now I fell her I need to see her.

I froze, noticing his fingers tight on mine “that’s it baby. I’m here.” I squeezed his back, and went to lightly tap his face but slapped harder than intended “open your damn eyes!”

I groaned. “Damn baby why are you hitting me.” I said and opened my eyes. “Damn I missed you, the kids?” I was worried.

“Are fine and with your mother, they were with her the whole time.” I said tears running down my cheeks. “I was so scared you wouldn’t wake up.” I kissed his forehead softly. “I’m so sorry.”

“Thank god I though I didn’t get to them in time I was so scared running in and finding you then back in not seeing them I couldn’t not go back in for the third time I had to get them out.”  I looked at her.  lyou don’t need to be sorry baby you didn’t do anything.”

“I wish I would have told you they were staying with your mums for the night.” I felt tears on my cheeks. “I love you so much. Knowing you risked your life, don’t ever do that again. You’re too important to us.”

I smiled. “I love you and i would do it all over again just to save my family.” I coughed. “Speaking g of where are they you said with my mum?”

“They don’t know what’s happened, they are with her. The police still want to speak with us.” I needed to tell him some things but not until he was out of hospital and feeling better. “You don’t mind us living with your mum for awhile do you?”

I smiled. “No as long as we are together I’m good.” I sighed knowing she loved that house. “So um the house is gone? Are you wanting to rebuild?”

“I don’t know. I’m just in a way glad we never had anything too valuable in there, I mean the memories are pretty much ruined after what happened and it’s all mostly replaceable items.” I buried my face in the crook of his neck “we can think about buying or rebuilding once were ready but insurance will cover damages so your money isn’t completely lost.”
