“Yeah I’m suppose to move closer to where you live for college it’s the only reason I choose that college. I looked over at lily and smiled. “I asked lily-pad to come down, I told her she looked beautiful. Which is so obvious.” I started at him. “I mean I love y’all like my brothers but lily is well she is my lily-pad and my love for her is different Finn.”

I turned more to face Gunner “what are you studying? Do your parents mind you moving to the states?”

I laughed at the kids. She was talking to this Gunnar boy too. As we got into the kitchen I looked at char. “How old is that boy? Is he the oldest boys age?”

I smiled at lily. “Yes my parents are fine with me going they know why I chose to go and they support me.” I really didn’t know what I wanted to study. “I’m still undecided about what my major will be. All I know is I want to be able to support my future family. I want to be able to do what my father and your father has done.”

“He’s eighteen, almost nineteen I think.” Char said making a coffee. “Now that’s a nice boy, you never liked him though. Or anyone for that matter around her. But maybe this could be good for her.”

“Well that’s a start.” I smiled. “I don’t think I’ll go to college. I like working at the cafe. But who knows what I’ll do.” School was the least of my worries. “My dad still is unsure of you isn’t he.”

I smiled.  “I understand it’s good for her but given the circumstances I still don’t like him around her!”  I winked.  “She’s our baby girl and if he can bring her back to how she was before then I’ll give him a chance. For lily.”  God I’d do anything for anyone of them.


“Well it doesn’t matter as long as your happy lily-pad.”  I patted her leg and wanted to leave my hand there but it’s to soon.  “Besides I’ll make enough to buy you your own bakery if you want!”

“Curious, when are we going to stop having babies?” I asked him. “The eldest four go off to college soon, lily is eighteen in a year, the younger two will be in two years.. and were having a baby who’s going to be left at home alone without any siblings.” I said with a sigh. “Is that wrong of us?”

I laughed, cocking my head to the side. “Hmm, not a bakery, but maybe a bookstore coffee lounge.” I laid back in the water more and seemed to ignore my brothers around us. “Or I’ll be babysitting my younger siblings for years to come.”

I smiled. “We will stop whenever you want us to. But I do love you pregnant.” It hit me I always loved when she was, she glowed and it was amazing to watch our child grow inside her. “I don’t think it’s wrong of us for wanting to better this world with our children.”

Smiling. “That’s right they are having another baby, your lucky being able to have the siblings. I wish I knew how that was but as you know my sibling died when I was just a baby.” I looked at her. “Have you ever thought of having children? You’d be a wonderful mum lily, beautiful pregnant.”

I raised a brow, shaking my head. “I don’t know if I’m ready to stop. I thought we were years ago, but I won’t deny I haven’t always craved more. I just thought you didn’t want them.” I leant closer “and making them is my favourite part.”

I blushed, shrugging. “I guess I would love to have children someday. I mean I have so many siblings that it’s normal to want a huge family. Probably no more than four tho.” I laughed. “I’m too young anyway, maybe in ten or so years. What about you?”

Smiling. “Four is a good number, I’ll be good with that. Like I said I’ll wait for you.” I meant it to no matter how long it took for her to realize we have something really special I’ll wait. “School first though I need to get a good paying job you know to support the kids and all. So in time ten years seems good.”

I felt my cheeks turning pink, I’m sure he would change his mind when he met someone else. “And an apartment in the city overlooking the parks.”

I nodded. “True we have never been quick.” I walked over and kissed her. “Do you think Gunnar is a good boy? You don’t think he will hurt our girl do you?”

“I can do that.” That’s where I’ll start looking for my place as soon as I can. I was excited getting all this info from her. I couldn’t wait to see her face when I show her the place I’m going to get.
