I smiled laughing that she was already being motherly. I walked over and grabbed the food taking it to the kitchen. I grabbed three plates and made two of them one for me and one for her. "Where would you like to eat princess?" I called out seeing my brother grinning. He asked. "So you two are together then no more worrying about others and there issues?" I glared why did he have to say that.

"what do you mean others?" I asked confused, then it clicked "oh do you mean.." I didn't want to say his name here

My brother looked at me then her.  "Yeah I mean that jerk and everyone for thinks he was such a good man!"  

I shook my head.  "He was a good man and a good friend."  I said glaring at my brother I didn't want Lila upset and if my brother continued I knew what would happen.

"Do t give me that bullshit!  Sorry Lila for coursing but I'm so sick of everyone thinking he was good!  I mean come on would a good man see and hear his best mate say how beautiful a woman was and that he wanted to go talk to her, then as soon as the mate gets up and goes to the restroom this good man watches then gets up and goes flirts with this beautiful woman and then starts dating her knowing full well his mate saw her first? Would a good man then tell his best mate after years of dating this beautiful woman that he needed to be more fun than working about what this woma would think? Oh and then the best part would a good man and mate go and cheat on this beautiful woman and get another woman pregnant?" He stopped and looked at them both. "The answer is no, now I do know a good man, one that put his happiness aside because he saw how happy the beautiful woman was it at least he thought he saw how happy she was. A good man that would do anything to make her happy." He nodded at me and smiled. "Your a good mate and man bro! You deserve to be happy and by god I'm so happy that you and your beautiful woman are giving me a niece or nephew!"

As he finished I just stood there in shock I didn't know he knew all that. I wanted to look at Lila and see what she was thinking but I was scared.

I couldn't believe what I had been hearing. I just didn't want to believe he was that bad of a guy. He was dead and I felt guilty more than ever now. "I don't think me being here is a good idea" I said quietly standing up. This was moving way too fast. His brother had only made me see just how much and for how long he had wanted me. "I'm sorry, I need to use the bathroom." I felt a rush of nausea come on and ran to throw up.

I sighed and kicked my brother out after he said sorry. I then went and sat across the hall to the bathroom she hated me, I could tell maybe I should just be there for the baby she doesn't feel for me like I do her I should just come to terms with it.

I came out after a.few minutes finding him still standing there "sorry, kinda felt bit sick." I mumbled glancing away. "what your brother said.." I began.trying to find the words

I sighed. "Don't listen to him he has always hated Wade." I said sadly. "Are you feeling better do you need anything?" Like me to leave you alone most likely.

"umm maybe we could eat, I dont want to waste all that food..." I wasn't sure what to say, I didn't want his brother to come between us and I needed to be sure of us.

I smiled. "The food will never be wasted." I say. "If you don't want to be here please tell me, I really do care about you but I won't push you to do anything you don't want and I realized I kind of am and I'm sorry." I just had to let her know.

I looked up, slightly confused and realised I'd made him feel like I didn't want to be here. "Brody, I.. I'm sorry." I reached out, taking his hands and holding them "I want to be here, I'm just scared and well, what your brother said hurt because, it opened my eyes to see what I hadn't seen. Hearing all this about Wade hurts, not because I'm grieving but because I fell for it all. I want you, and when I'm with you it's only you and us." I said hoping he believed me

I pulled her closer. "My brother only means well, he has been telling me for a long ass time about Wade but I didn't and still can't believe it all. So don't feel like you need to specially by yourself." I whispered holding onto her. "Let's eat and relax a little okay."

"I know he does, and yes let's eat please!" I grinned rubbing my belly hungry. "then I'm probably going to pass out in bed."

I smiled. "Sounds good. I'll ugh take the couch tonight." I wanted her to have her space. I couldn't rush this anymore. Not after seeing her face when my brother exposed my want for her.

Oh well I didn't expect that "umm ok." if that's what he wanted. "did you want to put the TV on?"  I couldn't bare to sit in awkward silence through eating

I gave a small smile. "Lia-". I started but then stopped I turned the tv on then sighed I ate a little then decided on saying. "I do like you, I like you a lot. But I don't really know how you feel about me really I mean I know you have to like me or you wouldn't be here, but I do want you to know I will wait for how long it takes." I said knowing I just most likely screwed up more.

"Brody, of course I like you. I like you alot, but you have to understand where I'm coming from.. Why I'm so hesitant to fully give in even when I want this." I said quietly, "youre not just a guy, you're important to me, and the father of our baby."

I smiled. "I don't want to screw anything up, so if something is bothering you or I do something wrong please tell me." I said and leaned over to kiss her lightly. "We can go as slow as you want I just want to be able to see you grow with our child and be there for all the late night cravings."

"you will be." I blushed, wow he really was sweet. I couldn't believe I never noticed this side of him before, well I'd.always had a little.crush on him but I was with Wade and he'd told me what a man whore he was. "seeing as though I work in a real estate agency, how about tomorrow I get some listing's and we can go over them on lunch if you're free?"

I smiled "I would love too. Just tell me what sounds good and I'll pick you up." That made me so happy.

"umm I'm not sure, how about you surprise me and we'll go eat in the park?" I wondered if he'd be in uniform. Oh I hoped so. "I'll need a new skirt soon before my belly pops out."

I smiled. "Okay this weekend we can go shopping since I'm off this weekend." I relaxed more. "You getting sleepy?" I didn't know if she was okay with me sleepy in bed with her or not as we now we're taking it slower

"yeah I am." I smiled, covering my mouth with a yawn "I need sleep, I've been so tired lately and know I know why." the baby and pregnancy hormones. "can you sleep in the bed with me? I want to cuddle

I smiled. "I surely can let me clean up and lick up and I'll be right there." I kissed her head and got up then helped her. I cleaned up our mess and locked up when I got to my room I smiled more she looked so good in my bed. I took my pants and shirt off then crawled in behind her pulling her to me.

Oh dear I wondered if I'd ever be able to sleep with him in here with me like this. "I can't believe I'm in bed with you, pregnant and living here.. I like it."
