I smiled. -well I have two weeks off! Tell you about when I get there leaving now :* - I got into the car and headed straight there. I knocked and couldn't wait to see her.

I was giddy with nerves as I answered the door "hey" I smiled suddenly feeling shy, but wary as my mother could stop by any minute. She'd been calling all.day and not happy. "come in."

"Hey." I said stepping in. "So what's this Tahiti talk?" I leaned down and kissed her cheek. I had my beer and a bottle of wine for her. "Let me get some glasses and we can talk. I pointed her wine and decided to just drink out of the bottle of my beer. We sat on the couch and I waited she seemed nervous.

"it's silly.." God I was nervous "I.just have a honeymoon that's going to end up going to waste, well not wasted because I was thinking of going alone, but I wondered if you wanted to come.. Oh shit I'm sorry, it sounds so much worse when I say it outloud. Of course you wouldn't want to.." I grabbed the wine and took a mouthful before I said anything else stupid

I laughed. "Your adorable when you ramble. I don't see why not I mean I'm not aloud to set foot into the station for two weeks so I have the time." I took a pull of my beer. "So when do we leave?"

I watched him closely "the plane leaves in five hours." I couldn't believe he wanted to go. "umm, why can't you work still?"

I looked at her. "Captain says my head isn't in the right place, whatever that shit means." I took another long drink and then said. "Okay five hours are you packed if not let's get you packed and then I need to call my brother and have him pick up Sammie and pack too." I was excited to go get away with her.

"Im not packed" I said standing up "umm you don't have to help." going into my bedroom with photos of Wade and I might be uncomfortable for him, especially after last night.

I smiled. "I know I don't have to but I can if you want?" I watched her think then shook her head. "Okay then I'll sit here and wait or at least call Blake and see if he can pick up Sammie!" I made the call and waited for her Blake said he would meet me at the house.

I took my time packing, not meaning to but I kept thinking that was a bad idea. Brody and I going on my honeymoon. I wasn't sure about what would happen. Would we sleep together again? I didn't know. Part of me wanted to but part still felt guilty. I came out with my suitcase and started to tie my hair up "I'm good to go, are you hungry? I cooked a pizza earlier, and haven't eaten any."

I smiled. "Yeah let's eat before we head to my place. As we sat and ate I told her. "Lila I don't want you to feel uncomfortable with me. I'm not expecting anything of this I'm going because you asked and I'm your friend. I want to be able to help you." I glanced at her. "I'm not saying I wouldn't want anything to happen but I won't push."

"I know, and I don't know if I can give you what you're after." I had remembered what he'd told me at the club. "can we just see what happens, no rushing into things. I like you, alot
But can you imagine what people will say. They think Wade was some perfect guy, that's what they remember and all I keep wondering is did he screw around often"

I smiled. "Like I said I won't push. I don't know what wade did after he started dating you I kind of went off the grid with him. I shouldn't of though maybe everything wouldn't of happened I'm so sorry Lila." I sighed. "I don't understand why he left that in the letter to me I know he knew I liked you." I got up and took care of the trash. "Let's just try to have fun!"

Wade knew Brody liked me? I didn't know that. What else didn't I know about the man I was going to marry. I stood up, and walked behind him "so umm did you buy anything on your way over here?" we would need to be prepared for sex if that was going to happen again, and I coukdnt deny that I wanted him

I smirked. "No but before we head to the airport I'll stop and get some just in case, but Lila there is no pressure princess." We ended up locking up her house and I loaded her suitcase in the back of my jeep that I drove over. I looked in my review and noticed a car following us. "Umm you know that car behind us?"

I glanced over my shoulder, shaking my head as a woman drove "no, maybe she needs help or something. Do you think we should pull over?" I asked, she was waving het hands at us and flashing her headlights

I looked and sighed. "I don't have a clue but when j pull over I don't want you to move understand? Don't get out even if you think I'm in danger just get over into the driver seat and take off got it?"

"I would never leave you." I said, starting to worry about what could happen. "I'm not leaving you here alone." I watched him get it and leave, my eyes glued to side mirror as I watched the woman step out from the car and my eyes went to her stomach. She was pregnant.

The woman pointed to the car "is that her.. Is that Wade's wife?" she tried to pass him "I want to talk to her!"

I looked at her then looked back behind me. "Your her! Your the stripper who got knocked up by wade!" I shook my head. "No your not talking to her. You I've me your info and how she can get ahold of you and if she wants too then so be it but no you and wade done enough to hurt her". I said wanting to protect her.

"who the hell are you, her brother? You can't stop me. I need to talk to her" she realised she wasn't getting past him and began storming back to her car "I'll see her around, when you're not with her!"

I didn't like the sound of that. I watched as the crazy stripper got back in her car and drove off. I got back in the jeep and sighed as I looked at Lila. "She wanted to talk to you. I told her no and if you wanted to talk to her that you would get ahold of her. But she didn't like that and stormed off saying she would get a hold of you when I'm not around." I looked up at her. "Lila that was her and I don't like how she was aggressive she isn't to be messed with."

My heart was.racing,.I felt.sick and wanted to cry. "she.. That's who he slept with.." she wasn't even that pretty. I bet she rocked his world though. "why does she want to talk to me? I want nothing to do with her."

I smiled. "Then you won't now let's not let her ruin anything." We drove to my house after stopping by the store to pick up condoms and a few other small things once I pulled into my drive I saw my brothers truck. He never met Lila but I've told him about her. We walked up and i said "hey thanks man! I appreciate you looking after Sammie. Oh and this is Lila my friend. Lila this is my brother Brett!" I smiled. "Oh so this is lila!" He said smirking.

"what do you mean, this is Lila?" I grinned, knowing he must have talked about me. But I wondered just what he'd said. "it's nice to meet you anyway, I'm hoping your brother won't complain when he's dragged along on bush walks and snorkelling trips." I.laughed, smiling up at Brody

I smiled back at her as I opened my front door. "Okay I'm going to pack please no embarrassing stories Brett!" I said knowing damn well he was going to try. "Oh umm Lila did you every hear about Brody streaking then getting hit by a old lady?" I groaned and walked away.
