Lily meets a guy from the city.. He's convinced her after weeks of begging her to come and stay at their family farm for the long holiday weekend and is determined to make it official, stating she's the one for him.. But Rob's led her to believe that he's not the player and jerk he's always been, he's lied about everything and not wanting her to find out, he comes up with a plan, conning his older brother to switch personalities and act like the jerk and player instead.. He agrees thinking its only for 3 days and this is just another annoying girlfriend he's bringing around.. Until he meets her and sees she's not like the others. Can he keep up his act, or will he betray his brother and reveal the truth.

I smiled "when is she due?"  I asked not knowing much about her pregnancy.  I just saw the scans and that's it.  I needed to know more.  "Have you had a rough time with your pregnancy?"

"they were worried about my weight gain but not so much what I'm eating, just how I'm swelling up at times. My feet if they're too swollen i have to go in. " then Marco yelled out "she has pre eclampsia, which is life threatening for them both. Any swelling and she needs to get to a doctors immediately" i mentally told Marco to shut up. I didn't want to worry Ryder about that just yet.

"What the fuck is he talking about?"  I asked worried.  What is this pre eclampsia and didn't she tell Em if she and our child was in danger.  Fuck I can't loose them.

"please don't. I'm not sure, I'm still learning about it. It's just swelling and high blood pressure that I have to watch it for, theres an increased risk of my safty during the birth bit I'm going to be fine. " I rubbed my stomach wanting to curse at Marco for opening his fat mouth

I got up and grabbed her computer.  I started looking up this thing and glared at the computer.  "I think we might only have one child!"  I said not looking at her.  "This is risky I don't like it."

"well its not like I planned it. We just have to be careful, but as long as I'm not getting worked up or swelling up then I'm ok." I reached for his hand, and closing the laptop with the other "please don't panic."

How could I not panic she was my everything and something could happen to her or our baby girl.  "I'll try not to but I can and won't promise you I won't!  I love you both too much."  I kissed her then kissed her belly. I looked up "im going to call my ma and then your pa!"

"I'm worried about their reactions." I was scared my pa would want me to come home. I felt sick with worry.

I called my and she was so happy and now I had to make that call I waitied till he answered.  I was nervous as hell.  When he answered I knew he would be pissed by his tone.

i could hear dad yelling at him through the phone and it was a wonder he wasn't in tears. I was. dad demanded i come home and got even madder when Ryder mentioned the baby. He put the phone back down and I spoke up "did he hang up? "

"Yeah I'll give him a few minutes and call back."  I pulled her to me.  "He has every right to be pissed but sugar it will be fine he will like me again." I rubbed her belly.  "You don't need to get upset remember!"

"I'm not going to drop dead on you." I stroked my fingers over his cheek "and i can't help but get upset. I want to come back with you, and give us another go." I laid my head.to his chest and closed my eyes.

I smiled.  "And that is what we will do sugar why don't you rest up."  I said kissing her hand and then running her back.  Our baby girl was kicking and I loved it.  As I knew she was asleep I called her father back.  He was much calmer and we actually talked.  I told him I would pay for a ticket if he wanted to come see her and he said he would talk to his wife and get back to me.  I was happy with that.

i yawned waking up, "the baby wants fried dipped in whipped cream." I moaned at the sound of that "oh and chocolate topping."

I smiled.  "Sure anything else you want?"  I kissed her hard and then told her all about her dad.  She seemed okay with it too.

"how about when we go home we see them, we can drive down after were settled in again? we leave in a couple days anyway and have Marco." I wondered how he would fit in down at the farm. "he will actually enjoy getting up and helping you in the mornings."

I smiled.  "Good I could use the extra help I'll show him the ropes at first then he will be okay to manage while we go to doctors and when she arrives and for our holidays we go on!"  I winked.  I knew she would like that.  "As far as your pa goes we will see he might want to not wait!"

"i love the sound of all of that but it's important to help your pa out. Please dont cut back because of me.. I know you want to but I'll come out with you some days and sleep in the truck" i yawned "family holidays, I can't wait for the three of us to go away"

I shook my head.  "You will not be sleeping in the truck in the heat pregnant!"  I said sternly but ad a smile on my face.

I laughed "ok, iill make sure I have a window cranked down to let the cool air in " i teased some more, "quick she's kicking again." I took his hand and pushed it inti my belly.

I shook my head.  "I love you lily!  I can't wait to have you and our daughter healthy at home with our cats and horses!"  I smiled pulling her hand to my mouth again with my other hand on her belly enjoying our daughter kick!

"oh my god the kittens!" I sat up, "are they big now? Oh I bet they are." I laid back down "i forgot all about them "

I laughed.  "They are and they won't leave me alone they miss you too they sit on your side of the bed and meow at me."  I laughed remembering them doing this everyday.

"thats pretty funny." I smiled "they're going to have their noses out of joint when mama comes home and a baby's there."

I smiled.  "I bet but it will be okay.  They will get the attention they need too! Ma said they miss us like crazy and won't leave her alone but she is loving it she took them to hers and ps is going nuts."  I laughed picturing it.
