Wrong Brother, Right Girl

Lily meets a guy from the city.. He's convinced her after weeks of begging her to come and stay at their family farm for the long holiday weekend and is determined to make it official, stating she's the one for him.. But Rob's led her to believe that he's not the player and jerk he's always been, he's lied about everything and not wanting her to find out, he comes up with a plan, conning his older brother to switch personalities and act like the jerk and player instead.. He agrees thinking its only for 3 days and this is just another annoying girlfriend he's bringing around.. Until he meets her and sees she's not like the others. Can he keep up his act, or will he betray his brother and reveal the truth.

his mum was amazing, so kind and caring. She was sweet not to make me feel useless like I already felt. "i really don't mind helping, I feel awful if i don't do anything.." I walked to the couch and sat down, soon lying down and passed our like a light. I had never been so exhausted in my life.

I smiled and remembered those days when I would do the exact thing as her.  I shook her gently.  "Lily dear wake up before I call the guys back."  She did and helped me with the table.


I walked in and kissed ma and then lucy I looked at her.  "You okay sugar?"

i just nodded "I'm just sleepy." I couldn't believe id been up for hours and now we were just eating. I didn't feel like food at all. "do you think it's ok if I go lay in your bed upstairs? "

I smiled.  "Of course."  I got up to help her.  As we got into the room I laufhed.  "You going to be okay sugar.  Your not sick are you?"  I got worried.  "I'll be back to get you when work is done but make sure you lock this that way rob doesn't bother you!"

"no Im just really not a morning person " i didn't even undress, just laid under his blanket and closed my eyes "i think I'd sleep through a tornado right now, I'm sorry I'm not a farm girl. Please dont.. " I mumbled and stopped talking as I fell asasleep again

I smiled and laughed.  I kissed her head.  "No but your my girl so it doesn't matter."  I made sure the door locked behind me I didn't want to take the chances with rob.  I got downstairs and pa laughed.  "City girls gotta love them!"  I laughed knowing pa was talking about ma.  "Yeah she will survive!  She loves the animal part and cooking so we will be good!"

"you hope, or maybe she's seeing that this is her life and shes just given everything up for you without you giving anything up for her" Rob smirked slumping in his seat "i know she loves to travel and write about it, that'll make for some interesting reads 'today I went to the store.. Today I went to the barn.. Again.." he taunted his brother

I hated that maybe he was right but I couldnt leave.  Not that it's any of your business but she knows she still can travel I'm not stopping her!"  I barked back

"hit a nerve didn't i." he snickered "bet you haven't even read anything she writes about, you have no idea because you're all about you and she'll see that soon, I'm happy to sit back and watch you fail for once.

I hated my brother so much right now.  "You going to do this work wih pa and for pa when he can't?  How is that thinking of only myself!  I have givinen up so much to help out around here!  You wanna talk about selfish then let's!  How's jane and the baby?  Oh wait you have been ignoring ever since I told you about the baby!  Just like you did to Bailey!  You go fuck anything you can and don't care if they find out as long as your getting what you want!  You have no job!  You are taking pa and mad money! Not doing a damn thing to earn it!  And I'm selfish???  Fuck your a idiot!  You think lily and I don't talk?  News flash we do!"  I got up and waked away.  I needed to get some air.

"You hear that Lily? hear him mention Bailey again? did you know he's been talking to Jane and offered to help her with the baby?" Rob taunted "you'll never replace her. You don't belong here and he's not going to leave this place."

I laid in bed and silently cried. Getting up once i finished and having another shower. Robs words were fresh in my mind.

After my work I ent back to get lily.  When I knocked on the door I didn't know if she was still sleeping or what.  "Sugar Lilly its me open up please!"  I waitd and waited then it sounded as if I heard her crying damnit i hit the door with my shoulder breaking it open.  "Lolly what's wrong why are you crying?"

"i don't know." I was never going to be enough for him like this bailee girl. She was obviously a farm girl. "just go away!"I hated that he seen me crying right now. "I'm just.. Are you seeing that girl behind my back Ryder? Jane or whatever the hell her name is, did you offer to help her with the baby?"

I was so confused.  "What?  Why on earth do you think that?"  I looked at her and went and kneeled in front of her.  "Sugar!  I dont like Jane nor have I ever she is in love with rob and pregnant with my niece or nephew but no the last I saw or talked to her I was with you!  Now what is this about because I love you and only you!"  I didn't know what else to say.

"I'll never fit in here.. oh no wait, you expect me to stay in a kitchen and cook for you." i grabbed a towel, angrily wrapping it around me to cover up.

"What no lily no!  I don't expect that.  I told you you can do whatever makes you happy."  What the hell happened.  "Sugar I'm so confused right now.  Please tell me what I did so I can fix this!  I don't like seeing you this upset please!"

"What do you think happened? Your brother got in my head! He's mind fucking with me emotions!" i slumped my shoulders "he makes me feel like you're settling for me or that you're worse than how you appear." I hated it.

"Oh Lilly if you ever have any questions just ask me I'm a open book what you see is what you get!  My brother doesn't want me to be happy and I'm so happy with you.  But I also know your blogging means a lot to you and I want you do what makes you happy wether that means going away for a while and coming back then okay I'd rather have that than not have you!  I don't want you to think you have to stay."  I sighed.  "I love you and want you to be happy."

and yet he still didn't say he would come with me if i wanted to travel. That hurt but i didn't let it show. I was here, packed up and moved for him and trying his lifestyle but he wasn't trying mine. "I'm going to change, then maybe we can go home? I'm still pretty tired."

Before she got up I pulled her to me.  I knew she was sad because I can't go with Her.  Not without hurting my pa and our future.  If I go I'll loose everything including her.  I kissed her head.  "We can go home as soon as your ready.  Then we can do whatever you want!"

"movies in bed, if that's ok?" i suggested holding him bsck tightly

"Perfect sugar."  I kissed her and watched as she got dressed.  "Lilly I don't want you to ever question how I feel about you!  I love you."

I pulled her close to me.  "Lilly that's how I feel, I want to be worthy of your love, I don't know why you don't think you are of mine because you deserve better you have given up so much to be here with me and I'm not to happy about that but I know it seems no it is that I haven't given up anything but let me explain.  If I leave if I were to say let's pack up and travel this farm this land is gone it won't be ours when we get back ma and pa will have to move.  Rob said I was selfish for not going with you and keeping you here.  But sugar I can't let the farm go it's my pas life I need to help and take care of it.  I have tried to convince him of hiring help and I would even pay for it but he won't let me.  I'm sorry.  But I have given up things, I gave up on traveling because I had to make a choice.  Please tell me you understand?"

I smiled sadly "of course i understand that you give up things to help your parents out. I love that most about you and i like living here but i can't work on a farm like you do. I'm not that cut out for getting so dirty." i hope that didn't make a difference to him "but i can feed animals and collect the eggs if it's after 9am?" i smiled wrapping my arms around his neck. "i want to see the world with you, but i understand your family comes first."
