(Female) A week before her 18 birthday she started to notice her teacher giving her strange looks and although he was attractive, it made her feel at unease. Her best friend for ever Toby who is also deeply in lo e with her but has never told her thought that her birthday would be the perfect time. But something else would happen on her 18th birthday that would ever change her life. When her parents spring on her that she is to be married and move in with her soon to be husband who she doesn't know yet.


Austin Jones was the high school English teacher who only took the job at Bridges High school because his soon to be wife was a student there. He has known for some time about his parents deal with their long lost friends but never thought it would happen or that he would actually have feelings for the girl. What will happen when he finally tells her. Will she run or accept the whole thing?

"Honestly it was nothing much. Just that you talked about me a lot." I smiled "don't look worried, they can't scare me off."

i smiled. "I'm not worried they will scare you off! I'm just worried on if they are telling any lies." I say as we pulled up to the hotel. "You want to order something to eat here and eat after we shower?"

"After the shower, I ate too much candy while you played," I puffed out my stomach and poked it.

i smiled and laughed at her. "Sweetheart you can puff it out but your tiny!" I said and kissed her. I went to start the shower and stripped . "Come on Ava! I'm waiting!"

I quickly stripped and jumped in the shower, pressing my body against his to hide mine from sight. "Would you like me to wash your dirty legs and arms?" I grinned squirting some body wash into my palm and rubbing his chest.

i stood there watching her move around our house that I so badly wanted to propose to her. My parents were coming for dinner tonight as were hers and as I wanted was her. It's been over a mount hand I was so happy.

"I'm nervous, but that's normal right? it's not like our parents don't know each other," I laughed softly and closed the fridge. "I hope they don't hate dinner." I was so nervous, I had cooked tonights dinner all alone as the marinated roast beef cooking in the slow cooker smelt amazing.

i smiled "sweetheart it will be fine." I kissed her cheek and went to finish up.

I sat up at the counter and finished off my essay for all the exams coming up soon. "I think my paper deserves an a plus, when you read it just remember all these countless hours I've put into it." I smiled and closed the laptop.

i smiled. "Just because we are dating doesn't mean I will grade your paper any differently." I say as the doorbell rang. Let's hope that's my parents and not yours." I joked but really I meant it.

I laughed to myself when my parents greeted us. Although we were dating I still haven't forgiven them for setting a marriage up. "Hi." I said giving them both a hug.

i gave a polite smile and walked them in. Just as my parents showed up. "Hey mum and dad! Come in Ava has cooked and it smells so good!" I said as Ava's mum looked at me then her. "Maybe we should just order take out?" She said.

"What?" I turned around and stared at my mum "i cooked dinner. Were having a roast," I said and she raised a brow "and vegetables." I added. "No one is ordering in."

i smiled and went to her smile. "And so you know I already snuck a piece and it's selections so I think you should apologize to your daughter!" I said in a stern voice I was upset her mother just insulted her. I don't see how my parents can be friends with these people.

"Well let's wait until it's served to make snap assumptions, Ava, you have offered austins parents it is a glass of wine?" I felt awful, I didn't even know if we had wine. "Oh I'm sorry. We don't drink so didn't buy any," I felt like a complete embarrassment. I forced a smile at his parents "I'm sorry."

i smiled. "Oh don't worry dear we knew Austin didn't have any so we brought some if you two don't mind?"

I smiled "I'll get it Ava why don't you help me." I said wanting hero thee away from her. As soon as we entered the kitchen i pulled her to me. "You okay?"

"Yes I'm good. I feel like an idiot, of course they drink." I whispered back and rested my head to his. "We can just order takeout if you want, I shouldn't have decided to cook. They may hate it."

i smiled. "I wasn't kidding I snuck a piece earlier and it is really good! Sweetheart you did good your mum is just a witch and she better stop or I'll kick her out. Has she always been like this to you?"

I was embarrassed that he noticed how awful she was towards me. "Yeah kind of. She says I was a handful that's why I'm an only child." I shrugged and poked him "probably why she wanted to marry me off when I turnt 18" I coudknt help but giggle at that.

i smiled "or maybe my mum knew and wanted to save you!" I said kissing her. "We better get this wine and get back in there."

We went back to then with their drinks and sat down. "So we haven't gotten an invite to this wedding, you don't have much longer to wait. Then you'll be expected to produce the first grandchild, a son within the first year." Mum said taking a sip of wine. "Were too young for babies, and that's not even your decision to force on us" I said back annoyed.

i shook my head. "I haven't even asked her to marry me we are just dating!" I said to her mother. "Excuse me you to are getting married next weekend!"

If I was drinking anything, I would have sprayed it out. "I'm sorry? Next weekend? What?" I was so confused. "We're doing this our way, you can't force us to marry in a week!"

"We can and we will young lady! Don't backchat me thankyou." Her mother scolded. "We have it set in a contract, this is what we sold you for Ava. We expect you to follow through, otherwise if Austin won't do it. Then we have another suitor willing to accept the proposal."

i looked at her. "You can get the fuck out of our home and never come back the contract can be broken and if it's money you want I will give it to you but I will not force her to marry me next weekend she and I will when we are ready!" I said standing up. "Seriously you have some nerve to come here and disrespect my girlfriend in our home and let me tell you no one will marry her but me. So go fuck yourself!" I said pulling Ava up with me and walking away.

"Is it wrong if I that was possibly the hottest thing I have ever heard you say?" I whispered sitting on his bed. "I didn't even know you swore, especially that word." I couldn't believe he had just stood up to my mother like that.
