(Female) A week before her 18 birthday she started to notice her teacher giving her strange looks and although he was attractive, it made her feel at unease. Her best friend for ever Toby who is also deeply in lo e with her but has never told her thought that her birthday would be the perfect time. But something else would happen on her 18th birthday that would ever change her life. When her parents spring on her that she is to be married and move in with her soon to be husband who she doesn't know yet.


Austin Jones was the high school English teacher who only took the job at Bridges High school because his soon to be wife was a student there. He has known for some time about his parents deal with their long lost friends but never thought it would happen or that he would actually have feelings for the girl. What will happen when he finally tells her. Will she run or accept the whole thing?

Walking down the hall I felt someone grab my hand "hey babe, you ready for the test?" Toby asked. I pulled my hand from his and crossed them over my chest. "I'm ready," I said quietly and walked into his classroom. I fought the urge to look and smile, I didn't want to give anything away at all. I took my seat ignoring Toby.

i watched as Toby tried to get a as attention. I hated it. Then another boy sat next to her. "Hey Ava I was wondering if you'd like to go out this weekend to see a movie?" The kid asked Toby looked at him. "No my girlfriend is not free so. Go find your own." Toby said. I shook my head.

i shot Toby a look and then looked at Luke, "I'm sorry, I am seeing someone and don't think that's a very good idea." I felt bad but I wasn't going to go out with other guys. I glared at Toby "don't even start with me right now, I am so may at you." I whisper hissed.

I watched as the encounter happened. I hated it. I got up and walked over. "Is there a problem here?"

"nothing at all," I said quietly keeping my head down.

"yeah what she said, nothing at all." Toby snickered. Now piss off and leave us alone I thought

i looked at them and said. "Drop the attitude Toby or see yourself to the principle! I was asking Ava seeing as she looks upset!" I said and looked at her pleading for her to look up.

i finally looked up and nodded "I'm ok, Toby was just asking me to do his exam so he passed, but I refused." I wanted to laugh, see how he likes that for messing with me.

"wha?! Oh you fucking bitch!" I groaned she got me back good.

i looked over at Toby. "Principles office now! Oh and by the way I switched the dates we aren't taking the exam today!" I said smirking at her. I turned walked to my desk. "Class we are actually having a free period of studying today! The exam will be Wednesday! Toby office now!"

i tried not to blush as someone whispered "looks like someone's in a good mood, must have gotten laid." I put my head down and started drawing in my book.

i decided to text Ava hoping her phone was on vibrate. -good one! But I know that's not what he was doing!- I smiled as I typed. And hit send. Watching her to see what she would do.

i felt my phone vibrate and read the message. I held on to my laugh -no, he was claiming to be my boyfriend. I have been distracted all day.. Last night is vivid in my mind-

i got a little upset reading her message but damn proud knowing she handled it they way she did.  I quickly typed back.  -that jerk! Haha.  I would hope your my girlfriend but I never asked...-  I wanted to but not like this so I decided to make her dinner and ask her.

i put my phone away and kept smiling. I was smiling so big as I looked at him. I couldn't wait to get home.

i loved seeing her smile and it was all because of me. I then heard that same kid as before ask her something. I couldn't quite hear. "So who is this guy your seeing because you have never really dated and some thought you were a lesbian. Or at least that's what Toby told every guy so they wouldn't ask you out."

"what?!" I said a little louder then blushed. I sunk down in my chair and shook my head "I'm not a lesbian and I cannot believe he did that. He doesn't own me." I was so mad and upset at him. "The guy isn't at school, and he's working just out of town at the moment."

i watched carefully as the two of them talked wondering what he was saying. "I didn't mean to upset you, I just have always thought you were cool and honestly I think he said those things because he loves you it's pretty obvious. But even if your seeing someone that's cool I thought maybe we could be friends."

"friends is good," I smiled back and went back to my drawing. I was so annoyed with Toby, I had no idea how he would spread lies like that. If he liked me other than a friendly way then he should have said. I definitely didn't feel the same though. I looked up and smiled softly at the man I was mad crushing on.

i smiled back and went back to my planning. I wanted things to be perfect. I mean she was living with me and we shared a intimate moment together so hopefully I wasn't moving to fast.

when class was over, I slowly packed my things as everyone rushed off and when I was the only one left, I made my way to his desk. "I'm going home now. I'll see you there," I said quietly.

i smiled. "I shouldn't be long I need to stop by the store to pick up some things for dinner." I say and look to see that kid coming back in. I smiled and asked. "Is there anything else you had a question on Ava?"

"nope Thankyou mr Jones," I said and left the room. I headed to his place and went and changed into some lazy clothes and got stuck on my home work assignments.

after the weird conversation with Luke and the store I was home. I walked straight to the kitchen and put stuff up. I then put the special Lemon meringue pie in the fridge I went upstairs to change and saw Ava with all her books on the bed. "Hey! How was your day?" I said kicking my shoes off.

I looked up and my smile brightened. "Sucked, but I managed. I even ate lunch in the library like a good little girl i am." I laughed pulling my books over to make room for him. "How was yours?"

i laughed. "The same I avoided miss what's her face so I ate in my room. Then had to deal with annoying questions all day. The best part was sending Toby to the office!" I laughed and caught her giggle too. "I'm going to change and make dinner. You almost done?"

"Yeah I am actually finished.You want some help?" I asked sitting up. "Do you want me to leave the room while you change?"
