i pulled up to the cafe and parked. We went in and ate our breakfast the whole time I just wanted to take her there and in front of everyone. I smiled at her and mouthed 'I love you'

I drank my drink quickly as the waitress came over. I didn't know what was going on in his mind. I tried to distract him "do you eat at work or when you come home?"

I got up and stepped up to the counter right next to him that's when I saw the fun. I paid and gave Holly my keys. "Go to the car I need to pee." I say trying to get her out of there.

"Jace what is going on, I didn't even get to finish breakfast, do you not want to be seem with me or something?" I asked, I felt so upset that I slowly turned and headed to the door.

as she left the guy pulled his fun out and pointed it at me. "Don't move!" He yelled. I panicked hoping she got out..."sir you don't want to do this! Whatever is wrong we can talk about and fix it. All these innocent people."

I just got the door when I turned and seen Jace, I went to scream but ended up almost tripping over some people "oh my god call 911!" Someone screamed from the building. I pulled my phone out and called Nate, crying as I explained what happened.

"sir please let's just talk about this." I say again. "NO!" The man shouted. "Okay then just tell me what you want?" I say calmly.

Nate and Jace's captain Hank came and told me to go home. I didn't want to, I wanted to stay here. I was so worried that I finally drove home, crying the entire way. I couldn't even think what he was going through, his job was so dangerous.

i finally got the man to calm down. We got him to the station and I wrote up the paper work then called Holly.
