I must have dozed off. I don't remember anything after that. When I opened my eyes I heard the beeping and saw Mac in the corner. "Hey.." My voice came out hoarse and weak.

I smiled weakly "hey beautiful, how are you feeling? You're in hospital."

I smiled weakly. "I know. I'm in a little pain." I said and looked at the bruises on my arms. "It all happened so fast. He was mad and yelling hitting me. I think he knocked me out a few times during it. I was scared he was going to kill me. Scared I would never see you again." I say as I started crying.

I stood up and slowly sat down beside her, "don't worry baby, he won't get to you again," I say. I wanted to kill him. I hesitantly reached out and stroked her cheek to wipe the tears away, "I love you so much, I'm so sorry I wasn't there to protect you."

I smiled a small smile. As a knock on the door distracted me. I jumped and grabbed macs hand.

"It's just the doctor," I said quietly as he walked in, "he wants to check you now you're awake," I said getting off the bed.

"No!" I shouted. I didn't want any guy touching me just Mac. "No!" I shook my head.

"Kylie were just going to check your vitals, I won't touch you," he said as he came over and just looked at the machine.

I scooted away and hissed in pain. I looked at Mac with worried eyes. I wanted to go he with him. "Can I go home?"

I looked at her with sad eyes "no you've got to stay for two more days beautiful, they need to keep an eye on your concussion you had and your ribs were almost cracked. Please try not to move."

I shook my head. "You can keep an eye me. I wanna go home please I don't want to be here. I don't feel
Safe here." I cried n pain and frustration.

as she began to scream the doctor out in a sedative into her drip "this was keep her calm until she can leave, the police want to talk to her. I'll tell them to come back In around an hour,"

I just screamed louder.  "Stop your drugging me!  Stop!"  I was so mad why was Mac letting this happen why wasn't he stopping them. I suddenly felt tired.

"you should try and rest," I said. I kissed her forehead, "you need to stop fighting this Kylie, once your wounds heal then we can leave."

I jerked my head and starred the wall. I hated everything right now. I started feeling numb again. I thought Mac would understand, but he didn't. Once he was sleeping I got a nurse in here. "You can't keep me here against my will. I want my discharge papers I'm leaving. She gave me them and I signed them. I then wrote a note.
-Mac I'm sorry I couldn't stay. I thought you would understand. I love you and hopefully you do understand why I can't be here.- I then called my friend asking for her to get me and then take me to his mothers. I gave her the address and fell a sleep.

I woke up and panicked when I seen her bed empty. I spotted a note and felt my heart pounding out of my chest as I read it. I was so fucking angry with her right now. I was only trying to help her and she turns around and takes off on me. I stormed out of the hospital and went home. I had no idea what to do, my girlfriend was raped by my brother in law and now she hated me for only trying to do what was best for her. I sat on the end of my bed and let the silent tears fall.
