i blinked twice, oh god. "are you still a suspect?"

I nod. "He's alive, but this was no small thing. They have more evidence that it was an animal but they want to pin me, even though this is my first time being near a police station."

i gulped, "what kind of injuries? like, what kind of animal do you think it was?"

[Mizho Sohma]

"He's awake, just a lot of bites. They said just some dog but they need to keep him for watch." I said but I didn't exactly seem sad about if.

"that's terrible. well, i hope he's alright. i best be off, gotta feed sophie. have a good evening," i smiled before walking off.

"Okay," I whispered and went home. I sat on the couch.

i walked to my flat with my hands in my pockets. what if Belle was pinned for something i did?

i sit in my living room when I got a call. I sighed in relief when they said they found wolf bites.

when i got home i fed Sophie, then locked her in the kitchen. i walked into my safe room and sighed as i sat on the chair in the corner.

i went to the kitchen and made dinner.

after the transformation finished i stared out the window. i looked deeper and found Belle making dinner in her kitchen.

i felt much happier than last night. I felt better without him here to hit me.

As the sun peeked over the horizon I felt the fur retract. I walked out of my safe room and into my room; and without skipping a beat I fell onto my bed, exhausted.

I laid on the bed quietly.

the next morning when my alarm went off i lay in bed five minutes longer, no one would mind if the store opened later.

I went around my house just doing my normal routine.

i decided that sooner or later i would have to wake up. so i crawled out of bed, showered and dressed, then was out the door.

I went out for a walk because I was bored and without Gaston to hurt me I was free to do whatever. I was happier now.

on my way to work i spotted Belle across the way. i raised my hand in a wave.

I smiled and waved back at him as he passed.

i crossed the road towards her and called a hello.

"Hey," I said with a much brighter smile than yesterday when I got home. Although I was obviously exhausted, I had classes today and needed to go to for my work at least.

"what's up?" i ask casually.

[Mizho Sohma]

"Not much," I replied. The spot where Gaston had hit me was bruised but I covered it up, as always.

"yeah? i, uh, heard about gaston. how're you holding up?"
