the next morning was good till 1st period came around. Why did I have to be stuck with her. I sat down. "So slave what should you do first?" I said taping my chin as she looked pissed.

i turned and looked at her. "You have no clue what your talking about." I said and got pissed. I got up and told my teacher I was going to the court yard to get some pictures I needed out and away from her. He said fine so I grabbed my shit not looking at her and walked off.

as I walked around and took some pictures, I ended up loosing track of time. When I went into my next class I was told the principal wanted to see me. I walked after knocking to see her. "Principal Smith you wanted to see me". I said ignoring her completely. "Well yes Asher, lease sit. I called you both in because intelligently you both are off the charts. There is a competition coming up and I wanted you both to attend." I looked at him. " air you know I would but its all about football with dad, and you know what will happen if I go against him." I said completely forgetting she was there. "I'm sorry I got to go." I got up and left. Not caring if anyone followed me.

as soon as I get in my truck I slammed the door. I took off. Heading straight to where we buried my sister. It was by our lake house because that was our favorite spot as kids. I pulled up to the house and got out. I walked the good mile and a half, till I reached the cross. I laid down and started to tell my sister about the competition. "I would do it Alice and you know i would kick ass. The only person that was smarter than i was you but my photography partner would probably put both of us to shame you probably would of been best friends with her, okay enough where was I, but you know dad. I wish you were here! I miss kicking your ass at games!" I laid there in silence for a second having the feeling someone was watching me but didn't care. "Alice I was stereotyped again, but if people really new that I don't sleep around, and drink at the parties they wouldn't really like me would they? I mean I really loved the whore who cheated I have myself to her and she cheated Alice! I won't hit a girl but if you were here you would! I love you sis!"

I peek my head out of the bushes and pull up my hood. I more then likely look like a killer but I really don't care I was quiet when I heard him talk to someone but no one was there thats when I noticed the cross. Oh my god this must be where his sister is I look over to him with sad eyes what did I do he thinks I stareotype him. Well I kinda do but I have heard thoughs things. I hear I try to get closer so I can hear what he's saying better till I hear a branch break under my weight.

i snapped my head up but didn't see anything. And at this point I don't care. I laid back down. "You know I thought about going to Stanford, I got a free ride, I just don't want to piss him off." I hear another noise. "But hey where ever I go I'll come back for you, it's not like my friends are really my friends. "

I stay quiet. Maybe he didn't hear me I go to climb up the tree when I feel something bit me and I scream when I find out its a dog not expecting it to be out here what the hell " get off me you bitch !" I scaream as I kick it over and over until it let go of me finally

i heard a scream and saw Lucy butting at nerdy girl. I saw she was about to fall and ran over and caught her. "Why are you here? Never mind Lucy got you good, lets get you inside so I can look at your ankle better. Do you think you can walk?"

" ya I can't walk " I say blushing when your dog barks at me I jump a bit scared its going to come at me again " ill be fine I should just leave I didn't mean to intrude" I say honestly.

"Lucy shush! No I need to clean your ankle and maybe take you to the er, it's pretty bad." I say as I reached our lake house. I opened the door and sat you on the countertop. ""Don't move I'll be back." I say, as I go to the bathroom and get the 1st aid kit. I come back in to see Lucy sitting there whining at you. "So why were you following me?" I say as I distract you from what I'm doing.

I was debating wether or not to just leave but when his dog stayed in front of me I deduced not to move that's when you came in the room when you asked me what I was doing following you that was a good question I think for a second before responding. " ugh .. I don't know "

i looked at her. "This might hurt." I pulled her blood soaked sock off as she hissed. "Ok so my next question what all did you hear and be honest?" I said as I applied pressure to stop the bleeding and Lucy came up and licked your leg.

I flinched but didn't want to show weakness in front of him. I look down the the puppy and realized she's not so bad after all. I pet her and think about how I'm going to answer him " I only heard bits and pieces" I say rubbing the back of my neck

Why am I telling her so much. I looked at her ankle to see I had cleaned and wrapped it. "I don't think you need to go to the hospital but you need to stay off of it, since today is Friday you can stay here. You should be able to fit some of Alice's clothes and well you can stay in her room if you want."

I look a him and see that he's trying to cover up the sadness in his eyes " do you even like football?" I ask in a light tone it was more for just in my head but it sliped out. " and I just was ... Worried " I say sighing "I think I should go home I don't want to intrud on Alice's area it's really nice but I can see you didn't want me to find out about it I won't tell anyone " I whiper as I slide off the conter not realizing how close that brought us together

I noticed how close we were but didn't step back. "You can't drive with your foot and you shouldn't put any pressure or you will have to get stitches. Just stay here its fine. There is plenty of food because well I was going to stay for the weekend. We will work on our project." I said, then I stepped back a little and picked her up. I walked over to the couch and sat her down. Lucy ran up and laid on her lap, thinking she's a lap dog. I laughed a little. "Do you need a drink or something to eat?"
