I could tell she was lying about not being abused anymore. "Good you'll move here and take care of the lake house and Lucy. Because your 18 you won't need your parents permission and by law the school cannot tell them your new address. I won't let you go back to get abused Emerson!" I say I know she's going to be stubborn about this. "And don't say no! I'm the only one who comes out here do its no big deal." I said looking down shyly. I looked at the time shit. "I gotta go the store will close soon."

I sigh as I watch him leave. " what do I do Lucy. I .. I don't know .." I say to her it was almost like she could read my mind as soon as Asher ran out to the truck and took off Lucy barked and I hoped over to her worried " what is it girl ?" She walked a bit father and farther till we found the spot I found Asher in earlier. I look around before looking down at Lucy confused "do you want me to talk to her " I asked she barked then walked over to me wagging her tail. I sat down and asked her what I should do and told her everything I have ever been holding in . I didn't realize how long I was out there for I just kept talking crying and praying that someone would help me.

when I got back u walked in and couldn't find Lucy or Emerson. I looked every where then noticed the back door opened I walked out and got closer to Alice's site. I saw Emerson crying and it sounded as if she was talking to her. I didn't want to intrude but I wanted to make sure she was okay. "Hey um Emerson, you okay?" I asked as I put my hand on her shoulder. "Do you want some time alone? I can come back in a few." I say.

I shake my head no as I got up I hopped towards you and hugged you tightly. " I'm fine i... I'm just tired " I say witch wasn't a complete lie cause right now I was so tired I could sleep for days. "Did you get the stuff you needed ?" I ask trying to change the subject

i hugged her back. Seeing she didn't want to talk about it. "Yeah let's get you off that foot and clean it up better. I don't know if you drink but I picked some vodka up because I'm going to stitch it properly, and yes I know what I'm doing so dont worry. But the vodka is to numb you if not then you'll have to deal with the pain. Sorry, um you want me to pick you up or a piggy back ride?" I asked kind of joking but she actually looked excited when I said piggy back ride.

I look at him like a little child I jump onto his back and kick him in the ass with my good foot "straight a head cowboy " I say giggling as I hold onto you tightly. We get into the kitchen where he sets me down on the hard wood table. I look at him confused before starting to chug the bottle of vodka when he pulled out the needle. God I might be able to fix old cars play video games but needles and me do not belong in the same sentence.

i saw her facial expression. "I'll wait till you drink some more." I laughed. "So Emerson tell me what's after high school? Do you have big plans, your obviously smart, good at video games, beautiful, tuff, strong, bitchy, nerdy, but does any know the real you?" i looked up at her confused. "Lie about what exactly, I haven't lied. I don't lie to be honest it get s you no where and it hurts not only yourself but others." I say looking in her eyes. "I actually want to go to Stanford and get my bachelors in medicine." I said shocked that I admitted that.

i shook my head. "I've only been with one girl, and she cheated on me so yeah." I took a deep breath. "Look I know I'm cocky and arrogant at times, but when people saw I'm some kind of player it pisses me off, I'm really not a bad guy but because of who I hang around I'm stereotyped as one of them." I said looking back at what I was doing. I was almost done patching her up and she didn't even know. "Okay all done I just have to wrap it up." I say smiling at my work.

"I will sleep on the couch since I never go in Alison's room or my parents since that's locked anyways. And we'll your in my room." I say looking at her. "Let me get you some water and aspirin for the morning." I walked away and came back with the stuff setting it on the bed side table. "Do you need anything else?"

I look at him with sad eyes " take your bed ill sleep on the couch. I don't want to take over your room " I say sadly "no I don't drink at all. This is the first time actually " I said kinda proud that I could handle as much as I drank. I lay back and get this amazing scent wrap around me and I couldn't help but bite my bottoms lip

But you need a good nights rest so please don't argue, Lucy will stay with you so if you need something have her come get me, please please do not get out of bed! That ankle needs to heal." i jumped in front of her to stop her. "Please trust me at least this once." I say as I put your feet back on the bed and cover you back up. "Fine ill sleep on the couch in here." I say. "I have to lock up and set the alarm first. I walked out and did what I needed to. I walked back in and took my shirt off then started to in button my pants.

i heard her scream and jumped up she was sitting up. She must of had a nightmare. I stood up and went to my dress to get a pair of sweats and a pair of shorts for her. I walked over looked at the time it's 1am. I sat next to her and handed the shorts to her. "Wanna talk about it?" I ask knowing that nightmares are not fun. I use to have them all the time after Alice died. I looked at her and she looked scared. I gently grabbed her in for a hug. And sat there holding her till she was ready.
