Amber Duqette was the most popular girl in River side High school. well that was untill her parents sent her to live with her aunt so they could go live in on the other side of the world... Ame isnt the typical popular girl. she never looked for the attention it just found her.. going into this new school any knowing no one was nerve wrecking. when she gets assined a lab partner in chemistry more then just the burner are getting hot...

Miles let out a small sigh and looked up at the clock ten minutes left till the bell and he could deal with this hunger.

the bell rang and i grabbed his arm t make him stay behind " hey you okay you look like your in pain. do you wan me to bring you to the school nurse?" i asked i dont care who that person thinks she is but this is more important or she wont have a boyfriend

Miles stood t leave but was pulled back down he looked at her confused, "No I'm fine, just need something to eat is all.." he merely said, "Thanks though.." he smiled softly

i smile. great its lunch and im alone ... why do i even come to school seriously " umm okay i guess this is bye then " i say looking at the ground awkwardly and going to walk about of the door

Miles sighed and stood, "wait you want to eat me, I usually eat alone anyways.." he'll just to skip eating the good stuff for now..

i laugh a little " eat you ? or eat with you " i say jokingly " but sure i will eat with you " i say a smile almost breaking across my face

"You know what I mean.." He chuckled lightly and walked over to her, "Good thanks.." he smiled lightly and walked out into the hall

As soon as we walked ink the halls I seem he and she came rushing to him. When she seen my small frame appear behind his she pushed him aside an walked closer to me she griped my arm and made sure her razor sharp nails dug into my skin I would feel the blood start ooze out and suddenly everyone's eyes where on me " what the hell let go !" I yell and with that I felt like I was a piece of meat.

Not too long after they walked out in the hall,(sarah imma just call her sarah..). Sarah stormed by and pushed him out of the way grabbing Amber's arm. Miles grabbed her arm forcing her to let go, "I am done with this, you and obsessive stalking and telling every girl in school that we are dating, it's never gonna happen!" his eyes flashed a reddish color for a second, he let her arm girl lightly shoving her back "I don't wanna hear that you touch Amber again or talk to her again or any other girl in fact that we are dating, your gonna regret ever think we could even be.." After that he looked at Amber his face softened, "you alright?"

i cringed as my arm burns from her dangers ripping into my skin "ugh ya im fine " i say biting my lip trying to hide the fact that it burns like hell for some odd reason " im umm gunna go to the rest room and ... clean it up "

Miles nodded, "Alright"

I go into the bathroom and clean up my cuts. A few mins later I go back out to the hall holding my arm thinking I didn't want him to see my arm like that. " hey sorry about that " I said my face burning with embarrassment

Miles leaned off the wall once Amber came out of the bathroom, "No it's fine, you sure your okay?" He asked a bit worried though he had no reason to be worried

"ya im good now" i said seeing the worry in his face. wait is he worried about me ? i go and hug miles for some odd reason and it calms me right down

"Okay..good.." Miles smiled lightly but it faded a bit when she had hugged him suddenly, he hugged her back a bit, "Lets go get lunch.." He said and pulled back from the hug a soft smile on his face.

my stomach grumbled and i giggled " i think thats a good idea lets go " i say as i back up and look into his charming eyes . oh boy why does he have to be so good looking ... this soo isnt going to go over well.

Miles smiled with a small nod, "Lead the way.."

" do you want to go out or stay here ?" I asked knowing we have time but not sure what he likes to eat I'm sure he's a steak kinda guy but I don't know he's so mysteries that I don't know how to figure him out like I do everyone else

"Hmm good question, I recommend to leave the food here is..not the best..I'll even pay.." Miles said with a small smile, "Plus for your first day I think you should have a nicer lunch then the rest of the student body.."

i look at him and smile "its okay i can pay fro myself" i say nervously. god this guy is nothing like the people at my old school hes so sweet an actually cared then boys i guys i used to hand out with where so childish and conceded

"It's fine I got it it's the least I can do..Come one their is a small dinner a block or two from here, mind walking?"

I look at him then to the people around us staining " sure lets go I really want to get out of here " I say honestly as I speed up my walking then stoping at the school enterence when I realied I have no idea where we are going

[Nalla]

"Okay.." MIles nodded and watched her as she speed off to the front of the school he followed behind her slightly once he caught up with her he smiled, "This way.." he headed down the steps of the school

I followed after him smiling. God I don't know what it is about him but he just made me feel good no matter what I had to go back to. "Where exactly are we going ?"

[Nalla]

Miles walked down the sidewalk his hands shoved in his pockets his mind was a bit lost in thought but she pulled him out as she asked the question he looked over at her with a small smile, "A block from here is a nice diner I like to go to when the lunches at the school don't satisfy me, I think you'll like the food."
