2 young druids that live in an encampment a achool of.sorts for those that wish 2 live and breath and dwell in nature come 2 such camps 2 become the masters of nature and natural balance. These 2 druids have come very.close 2 been set on their firsr mission as full druids. But before than can a bad thing happens whioe they are out doing chores for their respected teachers.

There wasn't much to take but I got what I could. Gueyn and I walked to the food supply hoping for better news. Once we reached it I asked "any luck Drizzts?"

I come up and u c 2 gold anklets on my ankles and 2 quite full bags of food and whats left of my clothes that i could manage 2 fit in there. "yea quite a bit of luck food wise and thankfully they left my bow and enchanted quiver as well. If worse comes 2 worse we can visit my friends in the battle hammer clan living in mithral hall 2 get more supplys once we are out of here we should c bout plans on where we should go and whatnot."

I hand you the pack of food and sling my quiver and bow over my head and then the bag. "gueyn go scout out a trail for us pls but stay in site." She nods and starts off in the safest route 2 mithral hall and the dwarven friends i have their. "its gana be atleast a 2 week treck there on foot unless we can find a pegasis or maybe sum dwarven tunnels that lead us closer 2 mi tral hall." I say quietly as we follow gueynhwyvar

I took the stuff and started walking keeping my eyes opened for anything that will help. We have been walking for an hour and I spotted what looked like a entrance to a dwarves tunnel. " hey drizzts what's that there?"

"im not sure. It might be the dwarvan tunnels that we were looking for. Search for an ancient ruin in the rock and that will tell us wheather its dwarven or not." As i slowly walk over 2 the small structure.

I walked around looking for what drizzts told me to...having any luck just want me today. I walked closer to drizzts "it's not my day today. How about you!"

"gueyn come on" i say loud enuf for her 2 hear n she comes growling loudly as if 2 say im comeing and i laugh alittl "can u c ok? Or do you need a torch or dwarven lantern?" I ask with more concern than curiosityin my voice

"Well it would help. Or I can just hold onto your shirt and you guide." It really didn't matter as long as we got out okay.

O flip off my bag n start going thru it n found the lantern n turnd it on for u. Iy glowed a gentle red light that allowed sight without forcing ur eyes adjust 2 darkness. "here u go. That should help." I say as i glance down the tunnel. "this was deffinetly made by dwarves. The stone working is the style of their ancestors. I would guess that this tunnel is as old as mithral hall itself.

I took the lantern and looked over the stones. "Wow!"

As you look over the curves and shape.of every stone and how they were handle qith auch care that you would have thought the stones were a living breathing newborn instead of solide rock. "beautiful isnt it?. the dwarves took alot of care into creating this tunnel. Just like that take care of the metal workings they.create."

"It is! Absolutely beautiful!" I smiled back and we continued on.

we see gueyn head out infront of us with me taking lead behond her letting my night vision take over completly. "this tunnel should take us straight 2 the dwarves. It might take us a day or 2 week at the most. N i highly doubt we will run into trouble down here. Unlss there is traps set up. But if they are i doubt their working anore but watch ur step 2 be on the safe side. If u feel a tile lower or a brick move into the wall tell me immediatly pls.

That is a long sad story. Il tell you if you want 2 hear it." I say softly. "but its also how me and gueyn met."

I nod. "yea i think we do and it would probably.help if i dd get this off my shoulders.." I sigh softly as i look down and think 2 so long ago. "it started when i was a little kid. When i was born i was different from everyone else. Instead of having red iruses like the rest of my race. I have.violite color eyes. . As i grew up. I became one of the fiersest fighter with a sword thannks 2 my father who believes as i dd that what our race dd was wrong. By the age 20 they sent me on a surface raid. Against your kind. A small encampment in the woods and i instead of slaughtering i saved a little girl aa baby girl really by splashing her mothers bloods on her face and clothing. When i came home my father at first berated me bc he thought i was like all the rest. But i told him that what i did. A few years later there was a cerimony qhere the men of my race join in their chosen priestesses arms. And well you get the picture. I refused. And walked away. I dnt remember who it was who berated me but they ratted me out and i became an putcast by this time i was wandering and found the statue of gueyn her sommoning statue. Back then there was a spell set o. It that whoever owned the statue she was forced 2 obey. But my people accused me of stealing the statue from our goddess the spider queen. And hence thwy threw me out i became a rogue. Bc i was different. i waundered the uhe underdark for years and they sacrificed my father in my place but eh ey ened up turning him into aindless killing machine. Sent for one thing. My death.i was forced kil my father and from that point on i swore that id never return. And havjt except once and only my friends saved me. From a horrible death. A few years later that same elfling that i saved found me. And she was so full.of rage and revenge that i had 2 kill her 2 safe my own life
