2 young druids that live in an encampment a achool of.sorts for those that wish 2 live and breath and dwell in nature come 2 such camps 2 become the masters of nature and natural balance. These 2 druids have come very.close 2 been set on their firsr mission as full druids. But before than can a bad thing happens whioe they are out doing chores for their respected teachers.

I didn't open my eyes because I was just listening to him walk around and talk. Once he finished I simply said. "I see, and just by the way you talked I can tell you that you walked around and ended at the same spot you began." I don't know why I felt the need to tell him that but I did.

I laugh and smile as.i sit next 2 her "ur gten very good at learning how 2 pinpoint my location in the dark. But anyway you were pretty good but udo need practice 2 get ur speed and everything up."

I knew I did. I laughed a little. "I can't be perfect!" I took another drink and closed my eyes again.

I smile.softly "no one can be perfect not even me" i say.as i rest.my hand on her forarm. "all we can do.is prepare for.the.worst and hope for the best." Then i remove.my hand and also take another sip of.water

"Yeah that's what I'm going to do. We have a long road ahead of us. I'm a little tired do you think it's ok to rest for a second?"

"yea sure go ahead and sleep il keep watfh over our suroundings" i say as i smile softly and cut the fairie fire.spell

"Thanks, don't let me sleep to long tho."

"i wont i.promise." I smile and grab a blanket that i forgt whlas in my pack and hand it 2 her.

"Thanks." I covered myself and instantly fell asleep.

I smile and nod as i let my infrared vision take over and keep an eulye on the waybwe came and the way we need 2.go

As I slept I dreamed if my friends who no longer live. I don't know how long I was out but I suddenly woke from the fear if my dream. I jerked up and looked around.

I look over concerned bc she was out for and hour and suddenly jerked awake "you ok?"

"Yeah". I looked away from him. "Bad dream is all". I had to hide the tears. Hoping he didn't see them.

"would you like 2 talk abpt it?" I ask softly as i sit next 2 her and rest my hand on her shoulder

"I was there watching my friends joke around having a good time when all of a sudden everything went wrong. I couldn't see who it was but there was screams of fear and pain. I saw everything except who was doing it. There was blood so much blood." I turned to look at you. I knew you would be able to see the tears. "You were there too and they got you as well."

I set my jaw as i sigh softly and gently pull u into a hug. " i promis that no matter what happens i will keep us safe and i will never leav ur side until you tell me 2 go. And i promise that no matter what i will always come out on top." I say in an even tone and try 2 softly calm you down.

I hugged you back but as I listened to your words, I pulled away. "Those are big promises. But I will hold you to them." I said as I wiped my tears away. "We should get moving.

"yea i agree il take care of both drow that are in our way." I say as i get up and help you up.

I looked over at him. "I can help!"

"are u sure your ready 2 fight drow in the dark?" I ask concerned

"I think so and if I need help you'll be there!"

I nod and pause fora second. "there might be another way. Maybe i could use.fairie.fire on one of them it wont disable them bc they can do it 2 but it might give you an edge." I say 2 you and smile

"I like the way you think!" I said to him as we continued to walk. "I think that will work out perfectly."

I smile at her n nod. " it will give u enuf light 2 fight by n also surprise them bc they wont be expecting it from u."

We continued to walk and we started hearing the voices again only this time they were more clear and louder. I looked at drizzts and gave my best I'm not afraid smile.
