Leigh died at 25 because she was hit by a car. But her boyfriend was in love with her and found out he could travel back in time to tell her how much he loved her. He was going to propose the day she died so it drove him crazy. But he finally gets the chance to save her.

I held onto him tightly. Because of what I now know I felt like I needed to hold him tight every chance I got, I never will know when I won't be able to.
