It seemed like the darkness gave me the comfort I wouldn't find anywhere. I knew James was doing his best but it'd be hard for me to get past all this.

i stroke her hair more and than laid next to her bringing her close to my chest

I went downstares and didnt see James and Ash but i heard their heartbeats, they were calm and steady. They must have found a room i tough going back upstares to Jared.

i finished my soup and sat it aside than i saw her coming in i smiled at her "come lay with me"

As I laid there I began to hear voices, but there was one that stood out all too well; my fathers. He was yelling at my mother about the house not being cleaned. Slowly but surely my vision became clear. Its like my body was floating above them watching it all happen. I looked around the house and seen it was a different place. I studied the pictures and realized it was the house we lived in when I was born. My father looked a lot younger and my mom still looked beautiful. Their voices were muffled but I knew they were still arguing. I studied my mother closely and seen she had a baby bump. She was crying and pleading that my father calm down, but her words fell on deaf ears. He grabbed a near by vase and threw it close to her head. The vase shattered against the wall and a few pieces cut her in the face and on her arm. He then grabbed her by her neck and, whispered something in her ear and threw her to the ground. In the process she hit her stomach on the coffee table and cried out for help. "NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked around and realized I was in Hellen's home and James was beside me.

"baby what is it?" i was falling asleep when i heard her scream "are you okay? its just a bad dream.." i reached for the glass of water and gave it to her " its okay i'm here you have nothing to worry about" when she finished drinking i sat back the cup and hugged her closely to me i didn't want her to cry

I took the cold water in my hands trying to still the shakiness of it. Once I was finished drinking it the coolness of it helped sooth my frayed nerves. I went into his arms willingly and tried my best to remain calm and not break down and cry. "How can he do something like that?" I whiwspered.

i frowned what was she talking about? "what do you mean? are you talking about the fact that jared left you or something else coz i'm confused right now"

I hadn't realized I said thoes words out loud untilI heard James' response. I slowly pulled away and wiped my eyes. This answered my previous question about Jared telling him what has been going on. "I'm not talking about Jared I'm talking about my father."

i frowned even more "what did he do?" i asked hoping he didn't hurt her she seemed so fragile

I sat up further in the bed and pulled my knees to my chest and laid my chin on top. "A few years back he started drinking. At first it was nothing serious but then it got worse when we moved. He would always hit on my mother and yell at her about every little thing that wasn't right. Then when I got older he was turn his attention to me. I would fight him off but it only made him madder, it went on like this for years. Then when Austin was born it seemed as if he turned into a monster. He hit Austin a few times but it's mostly me and my mom that's on the recieving end of his wrath. If Jared hadn't come to my house when he did there's no telling what would have happened." As I spoke tears ran down my face.

i frowned and sat next to her "i'm sorry i brought it up i had no idea" i hugged her i wished i could do something to help her forget her sorrows but there was nothing i could do "now i have even a more important reason to why i should take you with me"

I pushed away from him slightly. "But what about Austin I can't leave him behind, and I'm sure he wouldn't want to eave Eliza either."

"i'd love it if you came you and austin... and you can tell him we will come visit sometimes"

I shook my head. "I don't know, I have to think about it."

i nodded "i understand that"

I laid in his arms and tried clearing my head.

"i'm gonna make you some tea it will calm your nerves"

I nodded my head and laid in the bed.

i went to the kitchen and made some tea for her then went back up to the room and handed it to her "here you go"

I sat up in the bed and moved my hair away from my face. I took the cup and sipped the tea. I took a deep breath and then took a few more sips of the tea and passed him the cup. "Thank you." I said softly.

i smiled and sat it aside then pulled her to me "relax and think of nothing right now you need to rest your mind"

"I wish I could. It's just too much right now. Just hold me please?" I asked snuggling closer to him. I wonder if Jared and Hellen are still awake.

I smiled and layed next to him, i could feel his heatness like the hot sun
