I never thought he would I was just letting him in more. I was so scared. He laid me down and I was almost asleep right away so tired.

I was more than worried about her now. I even called het doctor and he told me to keep a close eye on her. I finished the outside work and we finally had hot water again.i came inside to start on dinner. The boys were feeding Mav in the rocking chair taking turns.

I woke and it was dark I felt a little better but I know I upset archer. I waked out to them eating dinner and Mav sleeping in archers arms and my heart broke. He loved his daddy. I smiled and sat next to them. "I'm sorry about the water."

"don't apologize. It's OK" I said not wanting her to blame herself for anything more. "did you sleep OK? Are you hungry"? I asked and one of the boys was already getting a plate.

I shook my head. "I'm not hungry my belly isn't wanting food right now. I did sleep good." I looked at Andy and Asher and gave a small smile they all looked at me as I couldn't do anything for myself. "Hey-". I sighed and got up to run to the bather these meds make me feel fine one minute and sick the next.

I put my fork down and stood,walking down after her with mav in my arm still "darlin, are you ok?" I asked wanting to help in anyway. I felt useless. I hated that.

I nodded. "Stupid meds they are making me go up and down I felt so good when I woke then saw the food and I don't know it just hit me." I groaned. "I love you."

"I love you too darlin" i rubbed her back in soothing circles "ok so no dinner for you, wbat about a tea or water?" I siggested as Mav stirred but stayed sleeling.

"Some Ye would be great." I said and then looked at him. "I love you both so much I think tho we may need help?" I didn't want him to feel all on his own.

"Help? What do you mean help?" Like fuck anyone was coming sround here and helping. "Everything is under control. I dont need any help."

Whoa okay. "Sorry." Was all I could say then threw up more. I was so useless.

"Stop damn apologizing." I also added as i reached for the fave cloth and ran some water into it "this may help, cool your face down" i suggested wishing i could do more.

Wow he seemed really upset so I choose not to talk I saw Andy watching us and I wanted to cry it probably hurts them so much to see this again specially archer and Andy.

Mav stirred again and woke with a cry. "He needs a change.. ill be back in a moment" i needed to be strong for her but it was getting hard. I spotted the boys looking her way and knew they were picturing thr same as i were. Ma. "Boys, how bout you make her a sandwich or some toast?"

I hated this maybe it was too much for them at least the boys. When j felt strong enough j got up and went to sit. Asher helped me and I gave him a smile. "Thank you." I said.

"Stop thanking me baby. Its my job as your husband to help in sickness" i reminded kissing her "would you like Maverick to hold? " he was fed so he shouldn't cry for milk,i hoped

I looked at him. "Um I can try." I said as I was kind of worried that he would scream at me. Once in my arms he snuggle and fell asleep I smiled at him then at archer.

"What did i tell you?" I smiled "he was just smelling your milk.. when he's not starving, hes happy to cuddle his mama."

I smiled and knew I was going to cry. I looked at the boys then at archer. "He isn't crying." I said and started to cry the boys looked at archer. "Why is she crying tho isn't that good?" Andy asked.

I shook my head. "women little bro, they're a complicated species" i chuckled as both boys looked confused.

I looked up. "Are not! These are happy tears because I needed this I needed him to want me and show me that." I shook my head. "you guys are complicated!"

I scoffed "yeah, we're easy to figure out." i sat down beside her, smiling as she looked so happy. "he wants you darlin." it made me happy to see the smile on her face.

I shook my head. "Not easy but confusing and I love him so much." He squirmed and then grabbed my finger so I leaned down and kissed him lightly.

"Maybe you'd like to bath him tonight if you feel strong enough?" I suggested watching them both bonding

I smiled bigger. "I would love too." I looked up and smiled at him. "Thank you so much for this all of it. I will cherish it forever."
