"Oh really?" I say with a smile "Is there something else I can offer you" I say softly into his ear

[Demona]

I grinned and flipped us over kissing her passionately.

A couple hours later i was getting dressed and i remembered i received a package last night. I opened it and saw a tape with a note saying' all the answers you are looking for' i frowned "Cassie! Meet me in the living room when you're done baby"

[Night Air]

I put on my bra and panties and a summery robe that I didn't bother to tie in the front. I walked down to see what Nate was doing

[Demona]

i put the tape in the recorder "I got this last night" i gave her the note and pressed play. It showed a little boy playing with the sand on the shore i frowned "That's me, that's before my mom died" a huge wave came and hit me taking me with it and i wasn't even crying, i was laughing. I sat down "i don't even remember that." the screen went black and came back with another shot of me when i was older, around 8 years old, i was standing by the ocean and moving my hands and the waves were mirroring my hands. "so it started when i was a baby" I whispered. it went black again and another shot came, it was the day of the disaster. i groaned and turned it off before i could see anything.

[Night Air]

I saw the look on his face as he turned it off. I went and knelt down in front of him and put my hand on his face "Are you okay baby?" I asked. I wanted to know what the video would show us, the note said it would answer our questions, but I didn't want to push Nate. I also wanted to know who sent the tape...

[Demona]

"I'm fine" i whispered and looked at the tv, "i'm not ready to watch what happened that day" i turned it back on and skipped that part. The tape showed many kids with unbelievable abilities, they were all amazing "hey Cassie isn't that you?" I smiled she was so cute

I frowned "It is, but I don't remember that..." I said. I didn't even think we owned a video camera. In the video I was around five. I was making a snowball outside, but it suddenly melted through my fingers. My mother was standing in the background talking to someone I didn't recognize, and my chest felt tight when I saw her.

[Demona]

another flash came and it was still about cassie, a few more passed and smiled like a fool watching her grow in a few scenes. i noticed that same woman over and over in each scene "Who is she?"

[Night Air]

"My Mother" I said. She was in all of the clips from when I was young, but none of the ones from after the age of six. She had died suddenly, and I never had a chance to say goodbye to her. "Nate, the clips from after I moved to my Grandfather's don't make sense" I said "I don't remember him having a video camera, but I do remember some of these events" I felt like there were eyes on me as I thought about how someone had gotten these clips, and I looked at Nate who's smile was fading.

[Demona]

i sighed and rewind the tape from after she was 6 "look, that woman over there with the white shirt, she's on each and every clip of you" we watched them again so she could see her "I think it's kind of weird"

[Night Air]

I felt my skin get icy as I watched. "I don't know" I said "I mean I've see her before, I think she's a teacher or something because I saw her around the school back home. I've never even spoken to her though."

[Demona]

i pressed play and we watched other clips of other kids, then the screen went black for mere seconds and 'you are not alone' appeared in capital letters. i looked at her "do you think it's some kind of trick?" another sentence appeared 'you have to reunite yourself'. that was the end of the tape.

[Night Air]

"How could this be a tick? There are clips from when I was three years old all the way up until now. This isn't fake" I said shacking my head. "Who would take an effort to track us for so long only to contact us now?" A thought passed through my head and I was on my feet running into the kitchen to grab my phone. I dialed my Grandfather's phone number but got voicemail. I felt like my heart was going to explode, what if these people had done something to him? I had no idea what they wanted, but they clearly had means. I sank to the floor and looked blankly down at my phone.

[Demona]

"you're right Cassy, but why now?" i frowned as she jumped up and went to the kitchen, i followed her hurriedly "what's wrong? did you remember anything?"

[Night Air]

"What if they hurt my Grandfather? You two are the only people I have left" I said and tried not to cry "These people must be crazy, for all I know they killed my mom"

[Demona]

"don't jump to conclusion, do you want us to fly baack to him? coz i'll just do that so you can feel safe"

[Night Air]

"If I can't reach him by the end of today, can we get tickets? I just need to hear his voice and tell him to be careful" I said. I wasn't sure if us going to him would protect him or bring trouble to his doorstep

[Demona]

"Okay, you'll have to wait a few hours though, he's surely fast asleep now" i kossed her forehead and took her in my arms "i'm sure he's fine"

[Night Air]

I pulled back slightly so I could put my hands on his face "I am so glad we found each other" I said "I can't imagine doing this without you" He made me feel so safe even when crazy things were happening. I kissed his cheek and managed to give him a smile.

[Demona]

"I'll always be by your side, everything you're going through now i went through it before, i can relate" i kissed her forehead and took her hand come on lets go to the beach maybe you'll relax a bit"

[Night Air]

I pulled on his hand to stop him as he tried to lead me to the door "Lets get in the water, too" I said. I tugged on his hand again to get him to come upstairs with me "Swimsuits"

Shortly we were outside in the sun. I walked into the water until it reached my waist and then I looked back over my shoulder at Nate. I smiled at him, feeling a bit better.

[Demona]

I chuckled and followed her. When she went to the water i stopped and watched her and grinned when she looked back "i thought you forgot about me" i smiled and ran to her "careful not to turn the whole ocean in glass" i grabbed her by the waist and kissed her softly

I leaned into his kiss "The water is really calm today" I said, our faces where still really close

I nodded "if i still had my powers i would have made you some waves to surf on"

"How did you loose them?" I asked
