I sat back down and watched the kids talk about something that happened earlier today. I couldn’t look at Jane I just didn’t know what to do or say.

“Well the kids want to build a fort after dinner, I said they have to ask you first.” I said to him, “because my forts are amazing.”

I smiled. “Anywhere you want Jane.” I got up “I’ll get the stuff then clean up while you get the kids and yourself ready for bed.”

I played around with the kids, and we built a fort but they were over excited and wanting to help which made the fort fall down. I laughed and, when they fell asleep I put them to bed and went back downstairs to finish it off for them to wake up and see tomorrow morning. I ended up paying inside, “it feels like a cloud on these pillows.” I yawned as I saw his shadow outside
