“I don’t know, I might break your brittle old man bones if I hug you.” I teased, laughing a little as I moved over to him and sat on his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck. I felt the tears come, and sobbed.

Steven rubbed her back in circles as he felt his own tears "i'm so sorry Lily, i'll be a better father to you. But you'll always be my little girl, even when you're 50"

“I’ll always be your little girl.” I pulled away wiping my tears. “Things shouldn’t have gotten so bad that we sold up and left the city.” Standing, I glanced over “Come outside and see what we’ve done, a lot ha changed since you were here last. I’ve had mason gardening.” I sniffled with a laugh. “The kids will want to show you about too, they’ve helped.”

“What are the chances my daughter will come back home? You can live in the farm house if you don’t want to be near us, until you find somewhere to settle down.” Ally offered.

Steven took her hand and walked with her to the garden where mason was showing architectural plans to Ally.

Mason smiled at lily but his smile faded when he heard Ally "if you want to go back we can but i think we should stay until you deliver"

“I like it here.” I stood close to him. “It’s become our home.”

“Your home is New York. You can’t keep the kids from school, you have a business to run and family there Lily. This is..” ally pointed around “this is your escape and it’s time to stop hiding and come back to face the world.”

“We’re not hiding from anything, the kids are home schooled and believe it or not, but we’re not hiding from anything.” I said with half an eye roll.

I wrapped an arm around her shoulder "we're not escaping, we're building a life here actually. Those are just the school plans, but we're going to open up more things here turn this island to a place where people can live not just come here for summer"

Ally gave Steven a look, but just kept smiling as she looked at the school plans as Nate ran over with willow chasing him behind “it looks wonderful. How about I take you kids to get some icecream.”

“Yum! Can we go dad? Mum?” Willow asked. “Please”, Nate added.

I smiled at them. “Of course you can.” I kissed them both with a hug. “Speaking of food, I’m going to finish mine.”

Steven knew what Ally meant but he didn't want to say anything. "Have it your way kids" he smiled

"Sure you can go" mason said rolling the plans "i'm going to put tgese inside"

“So our second honeymoon plans were interrupted, maybe we can have sex in silence tonight?” I whispered brushing pst him as I picked up the egg basket to collect from the chickens

I grinned "nahhh we can ask them to watch the kids and we can have a room at the hotel. Trust me they won't say no, all they want is having you back so they'll do anything for you right now"

“Oh listen to you Mr Taylor being all sneaky” i grinned “I think someone’s just as horny as I am.” I laughed softly as dad walked in. “Mason and I, as you know renewed our vows today, would you be able to watch the kids tonight for us? We haven’t had a nights without them since he’s come home.”

[Demona]

Steven looked at them both and nodded "sure baby you can both go away for a couple days but not more. We're here to see you too not just the kids"

I still wasn’t buying my dads act but I just smiled anyway “we won’t be away too long” I ran a hand over my side as the babies began to kick. “I’ll go pack us a bag, and call the hotel for a room with a view”

I kissed her temple "okay be careful not to slip" i watched her go and looked at steven "lets have a drink and you can give me a few tips on business and the school i'm building. Since you already have a school"

Ally came back with a bunch of fresh flowers and some market food for dinner. The kids ran back in with a chocolate icecream each “dad we was going to get you one but forgot” Nate grinned as willow giggled “and mum would eat it coz she eats all the time.”

I chuckled and pulled Willow to me kissing her cheek "yes she does doesn't she? We'll have to lock the fridge from now on" i looked at Ally and smiled "thank you"

“I’ll just order in if the fridge is locked.” I smiled hearing them. “And you all eat more than me, I just snack.”

“Yeah all the time.” Nate groaned.

Ally sat down “how far along are you, you’re showing quite heavily.”

“We fell pregnant when mason came back, at the church.” I felt the blush creep over. “Couldn’t Keep his hands off me.”

Steven tried not to listen and look away as his nose cringed.

I burst in laughter "lily you're disgusting your father" i looked at steven smiling "you need any help?"

“What, it’s nothing compared to living in the same house as them.” I laughed.

Ally needed to change the subject “you’re selling the restaurant? I am surprised you would since it’s doing so well. What about hiring someone else to manage when you come home so you’re not there all the time?”

[Demona]

"Yes i was surprised she wanted to sell it too. But i couldn't change her mind about it"

I looked at mason, half rolling my eyes. “You know my reasons. Stop sucking up to my parents.” Turning I looked at mum “my heart isn’t in it. I’ve told you I’m not moving back there, there’s no point in keeping it.”

I hid the smile "i'm not i'm just making conversation without giving valuable information." I grinned getting up "your parents are going to think i'm the one who wants to stay here anx is forcing you to stay here with me"

“It sounds like you don’t really want to be here.” I said looking at him. “Feel free to leave with them, since you’re now best buds with my dad.” I poked my tongue out at him.

"Aha? Your dad wouldn't stand me one hour, right?"

Steven rolled his eyes "not even 10 minutes"

I laughed "see? So i'm stuck with you baby" i wrapped my arms around her and brought her to me "i told you i want to be wherever you are"

“You’ve been gone so long, I guess I’m trying to keep you from the world.. things have been incredible here, I don’t want to lose that when we go back to the city. I love it here, and the kids are happier than ever.”

“Lily just think of all your friends and family back home, your brother miss you and I’m sure mason would like to be close to Serena and his father.. you cannot Gide away because you’re scared.” Ally kicked Stevens foot lightly and glared “she’s coming home otherwise you’ll never sleep in our bed again.”
