I came back from college for mid term break.. not being home for 3 years. And in that time, my body developed and I went from being the curly chubby haired geek to the total opposite. I mean, my parents hardly recognised me. So imagine when I go out with my old friends and meet a total babe, we hit it off instantly and soon ended up back in his bed.. unbeknown to both of us that we were going to be having a family dinner together Sunday night with my parents!!

I blinked, too afraid to move as I could tell I’d just pissed him off. “I.. I don’t want to message anyone.” I said quietly. “I was just saying how I felt. I’m sure you would react far worse if I had messages like that.” I really should just stop talking.

I shook my head. “No beautiful I wouldn’t have, I would have asked you about it listened to you and believe you cause I trust you! But it seems you don’t trust me.” I sighed. “I love you, I’m upset but I’m not mad at you. But for us to work we need to communicate and we need trust.”

“You’re right. I’m finding it hard to trust you. I’ve known you my whole life but there’s no much more to take in. I just hate that I’m feeling this way. I’m not a jealous insecure girl.” I sighed rubbing my face with both hands. “I’m not cut out for pregnancy or motherhood.”

I shook my head. “You’re wrong baby you will be such a great mother as I will be a father and we will be doing it together.” I pulled her to me and kissed her. “I love you.”

“I love you.” Although he said that, I couldn’t help but worry he was wrong. “I just want to go home and to bed.” And stop thinking about him and this woman.

I nodded knowing whoever was behind this was going to pay. I had a feeling it was her father’s doing. I was worried that the longer she was under his roof the more doubt she would have if me.

He pulled up out the front of my parents house and helped carry the bags to the door. I didn’t want to say goodbye. “I wish you could come in.” I whispered. “I’ll call you later?” I asked hoping it was ok

I smiled and kissed her softly. “Anytime day or night you can call come over whatever you want.” I didn’t want to leave her tony helped carry bags up and waited for me. “Tony and his wife will be staying a few days as well so you are more then welcome to come over.” I kissed her again. “You better go your father is waiting.”

“Bye.” I waved goodbye, walking inside the house and down to my room where I closed the door and slumped against it, bursting into silent tears. My heart aching, feeling heavy with regret and sadness. I showered, and changed into some pyjamas, climbing into bed missing him like crazy.

At home having settled tony and his wife in I laid in bed grabbing my phone. -I miss you, wish you were here with me beautiful. Abigail I love you sleep tight.-

The next couple days dragged on. I couldn’t go see him due to being so damn tired and sick. Mum had booked me into seeing the maternity ward doctor today in preparation for my delivery. She picked out a good doctor, and we went for a check up and another scan. Dad hadn’t spoken a word to me since still but I expected so much. Sitting down for lunch, I sent Kash a photo of me sucking on the straw of my huge iced chocolate and going half cross eyed - starving! Rather be sucking something else! xx -

I was in the middle of a meeting as my phone went off I glanced and smirked. -mmm! How you feeling better? I want to take you out tonight for our date!-

-I may have to cancel, just been to doctors and looked around the maternity ward. Kind of overwhelming and scary. Mums got me meeting with midwifes soon- I’d rather be with him but he had work so i wouldn’t bother him with this stuff. It wasn’t like he brought it up at all.

I hated this. -why didn’t you tell me you were going I would have rescheduled this meeting that’s boring me.- I was a little pissed she didn’t ask me or tell me.

- I didn’t think it was that important.- I wrote back, realising that was possibly the wrong thing to say to him.

I got up and told the people I was in a meeting that I had a emergency. She took that photo and I knew just where she was and it was close. As I pulled up I saw her mum and her. I walked up and said. “Excuse me, but I need a private word with Abigail.”

“What are you doing here?” I asked shocked as he sat down where mum was sitting moments ago. “I thought you was at a meeting”.

“I was but I need you to know how important you and our son is to me, I want to be here don’t shut me out!” I was pissed but looking at her I just melted.

“I’m not shutting you out. It’s not like you’re there to make me toast and tea of a morning to stop my sickness, or hold my hair back when I do throw up. All you can do is meet me at the door and leave again.” I said more annoyed than I should have. “We’re having a baby Brody. Grow up and act your age instead of hiding from my dad.” I snapped and bit into my rosted sandwich. “You either come into my room, or you don’t cone over at all because when this baby is born I am not meeting you outside on the porch so you can have a hold for 10 minutes before you leave again.”

I sighed. “So when I ask you to come over and stay the night so I can do those things that means nothing to you?” I nodded. “I’m trying to be respectful and I’m trying to do the right thing but you don’t see this you only see how hurt you are, well damnit I’m hurting too! Every night saying goodbye to you hurts! Bu know this don’t ever say our son isn’t important got it!” I was now pissed at her. “As far as you trying to deny me of my rights to him don’t ever try that one again! Don’t you dare threaten me with that. Now tell me Beautiful when are these meetings with the midwifes or the doctors I want to know all of them.”

My brows raised high “Back up a moment, I never once said our son isn’t important. I said the doctor visits were, meaning they’re just boring check ups and I didn’t think you would want to be there listening to them talk about how soft my cervix is getting. My mum even said not to bother you, that a lot of women go to each appointment alone.” I opened my bag and pulled out a photo handing him. “I didn’t know they would do an ultrasound and if I did then of course I would have asked you to come along but I didn’t.” I felt myself growing upset “I’m not denying you of anything. You’re being a real jerk you know that.”
