I’m getting married! But not to him. My best friend who I have loved since I was 5, yeah I know some don’t believe that but it’s true. I remember falling off my bike and my brother laughing at me, but our new neighbor came to my rescue. He was so cute back then. I knew we would be close friends from then on. Even my twin brother liked him. But now back to I’m getting married! Yes I went away for college not to were my brother and best friend went, but is where I found my future husband we I’ll be getting married to in 6 months!

I got the invite that tore my heart into pieces. She was getting married but she wasn’t marrying me like I always hoped she would. I remember the almost kiss. I was so nervous but I wanted to kiss her so bad but her brother freaking ruined that chance. Then she was gone off to a different state to start college on her own. Now she is back and getting married.

I hated that he was going to ask him to leave. Things were going to blow up real quick.

I looked at him. Maybe he was right. “She will hurt you, you know that right, she won’t stay she’ll leave and then what?”

I heard him and cried but couldn’t take it anymore. I walked out and steeped between them. “Enough! I’m so fucking tired of everyone feeling the need that they know what I want and what I’ll do! The only way I’m leaving is if Jake tells me too. Regardless of everything you’ve said and done I still love you Your my brother and I-“. I felt really dizzy and the next thing I know is everything went black.

I picked her up before she fell and glared at her brother. “Get the fuck out now!” I gritted my teeth as I carried her down to the bedroom, I hated that she was so fragile and hurt. I laid her down on the bed and held her close, watching as she slept

I couldn’t leave. I walked back to his room. “We should call and get her into see a doctor.” I looked at him holding her and knew then he loved her to much to love anyone else and it has been that way since the day he met her. “I’ll call, and I’m sorry.”

“Thanks. I think that’s best we get her looked at.” I Didn’t want to leave her side. “See if someone can come here and help.”

I nodded. And walked back out calling. I was really worried. I walked back in and looked at him. “I called and the doctor is on his way, should I call mum? I mean she could help you know!”

“It’s up to you. She doesn’t want your mum here but I think she needs to be, she needs a woman to talk to.” It would help in situations I wasn’t so good at “Umm ok call her too. If she wakes up and kills us then she has to know we done it or ofnworry and love.”

I nodded and called mum she was really upset I told her some of the things Jake told me and she carried and said she was on her way. I waited for the doctor and once he showed up I showed him to the room where they were then went to wait for mum.

I woke to a strange man looking at me and it scared me. I jumped and noticed someone was holding me Jake I clung to him. “What happened?”

“You fainted. We called a doctor.. and your mother” I added quietly. “Sorry if you’re pissed about that but we had no clue what to do.”

I looked st him and New I was going to disappoint her anyways. “It’s okay I understand.” I held my belly. “Is the baby okay I didn’t fall did I?”

“No I caught you just before you knocked your head on the bench. Umm.” I looked at the doctor “is everything ok?”

The doctor took her vitals and examined her the best he could. “I’d like her to come to the hospital now and get a scan done to make sure things are all alright. I believe her blood sugar dropped and she seems stressed so I’d like to do more of a examine if that’s okay?”

“Yes that’s fine with me.” I would like everything checked out. I looked at her “you’ll be fine. I’ll be with you the whole way.”

I nodded. “Okay yes I’ll go now.” I said trying to get up. “No no, I’d like your husband to carry you we don’t want to risk you falling again or anything worse.” The doctor said sternly.

I didn’t say anything to the husband, but then did he think I was Kevin? Fuck. “Boyfriend” I corrected as i lifted her up in my arms with ease. “I’ll follow you to the hospital.”

The doctor nodded. “Right okay I’ll call ahead and get her a room ready.” Once in the car I saw my brother and my mum. I felt bad Jake got in and I asked. “Are they coming too? Does my mum seem really mad?”

“No they’re not mad and yes they’re coming.” I smiled rubbing her hand. “Stop worrying. Everything will be ok.”
